Employee is in rush just to kick is out,came tonight to look for gold fish and she told us we are closing in 5 minutes and we start walking to the door and she came again and with attitude said it's time to go"!. Hope store manager put someone with responsibility and respect for store after leaving."

Brought the dog in to give her a bath. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Showed us where everything we needed to use on the dog was and they have a long hose air dryer to use. I would however suggest that you bring with you your grooming tools for your animal with you as they don't provide these tools. Just the shampoo and towels. They have shampoo for those dogs that have sensitive skin so that was awesome.

Review for Pet Valu on Pembina:Up until today we had only ever had great experiences at this Pet Value! We go for the dog wash, and have been coming for the last three years with the same dog. Usually the staff are wonderful and the facilities are great! Today however, I was in the middle of washing our dog (Nelly) when another customer arrived to use the second tub. For some reason Nelly was very agitated and started growling and acting up. It was totally odd but definitely not ideal.However, rather asking the new customer who had not yet begun using the wash, to wait until I was done with Nelly, I was asked to leave! I was asked to leave with my wet dog, mid-wash, despite being there first.I have taken Nelly to the same wash many times (10+). Nelly has been there alone, with other dogs, and once my daughter was asked if she could wait until another dog using the wash was done, even though there was an empty tub. She was asked this, because the dog was not good with other dogs, and she was told she could either wait the ten minutes or they could suggest another location. She obviously understood wanting to prevent an incident, that dogs are unpredictable, and that the other customer was there first.From a legal perspective – what would have happened if I slipped and fell on my way out because of my wet dog, when the only reason I left was because they made me? Well to top-off the awful service - they gave me a refund (after I asked) but when I took a look at my receipt it said “Customer decision” as the reason for the refund!!  So, to answer the question of what would have happened if I fell with my wet dog and injured myself? Well, the misrepresenting receipt would have said it was MY decision to leave, and I would have had no recourse.To sum up, everything about today was completely unacceptable.Not all dogs are like every other dog. It's normal for dogs to growl and bark at some other dogs.It all depends on the aggressiveness of the dogs' behavior. Nelly was not being aggressive enough for her to leave the bath tub. If she was, I would have taken her out of there myself.If Pet Valu hires managers and workers who are not aware of animal behaviour then they should have a sign that reads,No growling or barking at other dogs allowed" at the wash!This was such an offensive experience

Always greeted when you walk in the door and asked if you need assistance. I have never been into a Pet Valu that was disorganized or dirty, it's always bright and happy as are it's employees! I always buy my dogs high quality foods and bones here.

I love this store. I find the staff to be very helpful. They are so accommodating. The doggy baths are great-very clean. They offer good prices on their sale items. They always offer carry out service without a request. Nail cutting service is so convenient, too.

I love coming here. I even bring my kid every time. He loves petting the store cat lol. The staff is always so friendly. And very knowledgeable. I had a bunch of questions about my dogs anxiety and the guy I talked to (for the life of me I can't remember his name) was very helpful. And he must have talked to me for almost an hour. Showing me different products and explaining them to me. And not once did I feel like he was rushing or just trying to push a sale on me to get me out of there. Great store. Great people.

It was the first time I used the bathing facility. It worked great with my big (100 lb) Olde English Bulldogge. The shampoo they provided was fine but I will bring my own next time (just personal preference).The price was reasonable.I liked that the dog was at my height so made it very easy to give him a good scrub. Everything was provided including a bag of treats.The store had a quiet environment so my dog was not distracted by other things during the experience.I shall return especially during the winter months when bathing is impossible for me to do indoors.
