Enigma Escapes

Far and away the best destination for escape rooms. My group did the butcher of the catacombs and is so far the best escape room I have done. The puzzles were well done and were not overwhelming. The staff were accommodating and made the room fully come to life, would go again

We had such a good experience here!!! As soon as we walked in the door we were greeted by one of the employees, Erin. She helped us check in and lead us to the room. She explained all of the rules and asked us if we had any questions. We did not feel rushed at all. The room was awesome and Erin helped us as we asked!!! I want to thank Erin for being so kind and helpful and making our experience great!!

We played the blackbeard's brig. It would have been fun if the chests and puzzles were not damaged. Most of the stuff was in really bad condition. The puzzles were pretty hard to solve. I dont recommend this room for kids at all! The staff seemed like they didn't want to be there. Hints were given on the screen to help, which was good, but the person couldn't even type properly, which took more time off the clock, waiting for them to type properly.They are lucky i paid beforehand as i would of just walked out. The kids were very unhappy with the room. Never again!

We went to Enigma last night for the first time and had a blast! We were a group of 6 puzzle-and-math-loving people ranging in age from 6 to 65. We didn’t choose a specific kid-friendly puzzle so that it would be fun for everyone, and we all had a great time! Only complaint is that two of the locks hadn’t been properly secured before we entered, though we still solved the puzzles that would have opened those locks, which we felt good about. Will definitely be back!

An excellent place for work team engagement, celebrating occasions or simply enjoying time with friends and family.Enigma Escapes provides a great ‘escape’ from the usual and mundane and drops you in a new world where time is of essence and your brains and your team is all that you have on your side. What a better way to spend quality time together doing something totally unexpected.Staff and game managers are knowledgeable and look after you. The rooms are excellently done, clean, spacious and puzzles complicated (but just enough to keep everyone engaged not to lose your mind and get discouraged).They keep on brining new puzzles and rooms periodically keeping things interesting and new.Would highly recommend checking this place out.Please ‘like’ if you found this review helpful.

Our escape room was well done. We had several beginners in our group and the clues weren't too difficult. Our guide was very helpful and professional. Would go back to try the other rooms as well!

Just did two rooms back to back for double date night and we had such a good time! Shared so many laughs together while the boys did nothing and the girls solve all the puzzles. The quality of the rooms were awesome as well. Our gamemaster, Andrew, made sure to make it an entertaining double date by joking around with us and helping us solve puzzles whenever we were getting stuck. He also got really into character and dressed up as Poseidon himself! A+ for dedication. Enigma escapes is the place to go for escape rooms because of their high quality rooms and awesome staff!

I have played all of Enigma Escapes rooms at their Grant Park location and tonight went on a double-date with some friends to try out their Lorimer rooms, specifically being “Poseidon’s Promise “ and “The Luckyduck Speakeasy”. I was very impressed with the quality of their rooms and uniqueness of the puzzles. Our game master was Andrew, and throughout our games, he was there at every step ensuring that we never got stuck on any puzzle, and even went the extra mile by putting on different costumes matching the rooms we were playing which made the experience so much more interactive. I truly felt as if I was walking directly into the Ocean of Poseidon because of this!! Will definitely be coming back to play their other rooms!

Had a wonderful time. Reasonably priced for groups. Loved their puzzles. I was also impressed by how clean the rooms were. Will go back to try out their other escapes.
