We just used Pioneer for a full renovation on our house, from flooring to bathroom fixtures and fencing they had it all with very competitive pricing and knowledgeable, helpful staff assisted us every step of the way ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This place is so friendly and smart. I have left here many times buying nothing because the staff directed me somewhere else or helped me come up with a different approach to a problem. I actually trust the staff too and they seem to defer to others when they don’t know the answer. Great place to go and shop.

Excellent service!Had my entire order bound and ready to go when i arrived, dropped it right into my pickup with the forklift....and like another poster said, all was done with a big smile and a great attitude from every team member i spoke with.Proud to support the local non-American hardware store!shop Canadian!

Very impressed with the service at this store! I was doing some plumbing (soldering) and was having some issues with my propane torch. When I asked what the problem could be, one of the staff helped trouble shoot the problem--actually opening up a brand new torch to compare and swap parts to see what the problem might be. I've never had this kind of great service from a building supply store before. Much appreciated! I'll be back.

Had my floors done and the installers were very quick to get in and out. I was pressed to move furniture out of bedroom early one morning and did so, and at 4 that night the installer said he wasn't coming back till Monday..it was Thursday and he only laid 2 pieces of floor into bedroom. When he started the flooring with not that great English he tried to explain his pattern ..And I thought that was for a very random pattern he was going to lay down.and to not see a pattern of starting with a partial plank every so many laid..What I feel I got was no consideration to what I feel should be standard practise. With laminants there are patterns and textures that I feel should be distributed throughout the floor and cammouflage the perception of that unique identifiable pattern. I was not impressed when they raced out ..I looked down at the floor to examine..also the start to many rows of flooring he has a small 1 inch or 2inch piece...now I feel that this is not common practice...hoping that I am right..?And the first area I looked down was the hallway in front of bedroom. And blatantly staring at me were 2 patterns in the floor that were repeated in a very narrow part..making them glare at me even more because of the small area they were laid in.As he did closets my sliding doors were a little snug but as he did them he told me that I would have to fix that..Now they are quote snug and i struggle with them. Areas outside where he was cutting he did a small touch with broom but left a new cedar cover sprayed thick with sawdust..there were more issues...I did call and made payment...and as I verified the amount there was a charge for 150 more for moving furniture...! I went a little ballistic when I heard that considering a bed he helped me slide out of the 1 bedroom and the frame...When he arrived and was setting up I had a fellow helping me with projects and every time the 2 of us came into the house we packed a box of flooring. And every time we exited we removed a load of the floor he took out...saving him major steps that there was no consideration given to with this charge. At the end I explained all this to a fellow from the store who was super helpful and scheduled everything quickly, after I paid to show him that my complaints were not there to reduce payment to them... except for the $150.I was disappointed that he called me back and all that was said was he wanted the $150; to disappear...and didn't even acknowledge the other areas of concern I had...the thresholds going Into rooms were not properly fixed and were loose after the weight was pulled of them a day later...and I will figure out how to fix and will not call back. I am sure that this is only one incident and there are many very happy customers and maybe I got an installer who had a bad day...?

A good place to check out when you're looking for good prices. Sometimes better than Home Depot, sometimes it's the other way around. Staff are very helpful.

Since I found out that realtor Sabrina Vandenbrink married the owner, I avoid this store.
