Okay so I did the G test and passed and my instructor was Nash. I will say I read the reviews before my test and was quite nervous but on the day of the test, he was very calm and collected. I enjoyed having short conversations with him while driving and he genuinely provided great advice and helpful pointers. I cannot stress this enough but PRACTICE MERGING!! The highway is 110km/h but GO WITH THE FLOW OF TRAFFIC. DON’T merge unless it’s absolutely safe to do so. The instructors’ number one priority is their own safety and ensuring that you are a safe and not a reckless driver. Once they have established that you are a safe driver they can begin to assess things like your signalling, speed, etc. BUT you have to show them that you are a safe driver because that’s the only way you will pass. My first G test didn't go smoothly, but my second time trying went really smoothly as I had Nash as my examiner. He was really encouraging and I wasn't as nervous driving with him. He was patient and gave me instructions well beforehand so I can be prepared. Great experience with Nash!

I took the G1 exam today at this horrible center, a very small but very crowded, aggressive staffs, that give everyone a hard time with their attitude!!! No offense but I never see something like that all over Canada as Canadian people are very patient and nice and polite. when we were there (almost 3 hours) I heard that other G2 or G full examinees complaint about how awful their structure treated them

My sister and I have done our G road test in this place. We both passed and didn’t wait in long lineup, everything went really smooth and before the test, examiners instructed us how to act during the test and what things are really important for them.Scan the intersections , use your head and body when you need to look for the blind spot, when you want to enter to the Highway the speed is 110k and if it’s safe be sure to enter to the highway at this speed! Pay attention when you want to turn right in an intersection.Just do your best in this 15 to 20 minutes and you will pass for sure.

I passed my G test here today. Not sure why it gets such low reviews. My examiner was Andrew- I’ve seen some negative comments about him on here but he was pretty chill. He simply gives instructions and doesn’t talk much otherwise. Keep in mind that the wait times at this centre are fairly long, and the parking lot is very busy - I recommend reversing into your spot upon arrival to make it easier to start your test.If you practice properly merging at highway speed, checking your mirrors every 5 or so seconds, checking intersections before entering, etc., you should be fine.

Passed my G test here. My examiner, Elisha, was thorough but thoughtful and considerate. She pointed out a few areas where I need to improve my driving and observational skills, but did not fail me on account of the minor mistakes made. Overall, it was a positive experience.

I passed my G today (May 16) with an exceptional examiner named “Carlyle” or someone similar. He was awesome—so kind and cool. My exam started at 10:05 and finished at 10:15, which was so fast and perfect. I'm incredibly lucky because he was my examiner. He calmed me down with his words and conversation, and my confidence increased significantly.

The drive instructors are rude but I was already aware of this as I passed my G2 on the first try about a year ago. I am not upset that I failed because I sort of predicted I would with the amount of nerves I was feeling before hand. Went from my G1 to G test here at this Newmarket location. Recently, I passed my G test and I've got to say its been a long and tough ride. Started my G1 test here three years ago and I still remember how nervous I was coming here for the first time. I woke up at 5am and started lining up by 6:30am and still waited for 2 hours. Fortunately though, I passed my G1 and G2 test here in my 1st attempt. I remember my examiner for my G2 test was very nice (but I forgot his name). He explained all the instructions clearly and provided clear instructions of when to change lanes, turn, etc. When we got back to the drive test center, he even gave me suggestions on how I can improve my driving upon passing me.However, I did my first G test here on 2023/04/25 and was failed by my first examiner for something that was not in my control (hence my reason for a 4 stars). I did my G2 test with instructor Nash, he was very calm and understanding in terms of making me feel comfortable during my test. He was very patient and helpful. I really enjoyed my experience driving with him. Most of the instructors are a bit intimidating which can be the reason for nervousness but Nash reassured me and made me feel confident and comfortable while driving. Thank you Nash for helping me and guiding me along my G2 road test, it was a pleasure doing it with you!
