Pro Built Alternators & Starters
My starter on my van was no longer working, I pulled it out called Pro-Built. They gave me several options, with prices and ETAs for each option. I chose to have them rebuild my starter since it was the cheapest and the fastest option. It came back in absolutely gorgeous condition, clearly they take pride in their work.

my fleet of 50 units ranges from 1994 - 2018, ranging from pressure washers + forklifts to C10 caterpillar and Detroits. Al has been able to find me the alternators and starters for everything. Always a solid product, no cheaping out on the rebuilds, best bang for your buck on new units.

Pro Built Alternators & Starters
Just had an alternator for my Porsche rebuilt here. Took it in Wednesday and was told it might be ready Friday. Instead i received a call Wednesday evening and it was ready.My battery was constantly going dead even though the voltmeter in the car said charging at 14 volts. I have always though something was draining the battery. Now internal meter says charging around 12.8 or so but external Fluke says 13.7 and battery is draining anymore. I don't understand it, but am very happy.

Pro Built Alternators & Starters
I needed an alternator for my older Bobcat. I was expecting to have a challenge finding a replacement and was also expecting a challenge in getting it rebuilt. I went to Pro Built and was very pleased. They were able to cross reference it over to a different brand and even had it in stock. Totally pleased with my experience with this company.

Excellent service!!! I brought in an alternator from my RV-10 airplane and Al was able to fix it within a few days. Parts for this were difficult to find because the manufacturer does not supply the aftermarket but he was able to source what was needed and get me back in the air poking holes in clouds. I couldn't be happier with the service from this shop. Price was fair as well. The repair cost me 25% of what a new alternator would have cost.

Quick and easy. Showed up, didn't have the starter I required but within 10 minutes they'd gotten on a phone & found the starter I needed. Had it shipped to their shop within the hour.

Pro Built Alternators & Starters
I went to Pro Built Alternators & Starters on October-28-2014. The entire experience was extremely professional and helpful. Everyone else that I called either wanted an exorbitant amount of money for a 2001 hyundai accent alternator or didn't answer the phone/return voice mails. The owner, Al Phee was very helpful and even gave me a bolt/washer/nut to help with the re-install at no charge. The rebuilt alternator I purchased was very clean and looked as good as new. It worked perfectly after I installed it in my girlfriends Hyundai. I wish more businesses had the old school quality customer service like Pro Built. Very impressed!

I bought a starter from here last week, I've gotten used to thw Calgary auto services and a Don't give a damn" attitude since I've lived here. That isn't the case with Pro Built.I purchased a starter for my 2001 F250

Fantastic service. They didn’t have EXACTLY what I needed, but were able to find something very similar, higher output and make it a straight across install. And all this while I waited, and still hundreds cheaper than the dealership. Thank you!
