Was a beautiful day to be out when we hit this trail! Got out early enough to beat the rush of ppl checking out the falls haha! Awesome to see so many ppl out btw! The view was spectacular at the falls! We did the extra loop to make sure we got to see the best of what the trail had to offer!Few wet n muddy spots but was nothing to worry about! Oh and just found a couple of ticks on us! Not bad for the time of the year!

Captivating and stunning site for hiking. Well preserved trails, which is great for beginners. Spent 4 hours to complete the longer trail. Take with you some snacks and drinks, and wear appropriate clothes and shoes for hiking. There’s a couple of picnic tables with bonfire pits that you can use if you want to rest and stay for a moment while enjoying the nature and the scenery.

The hike on Victoria Day was great! Took the hiking trail to the rapids & self-guiding trail back to the parking lot. Hiking is definitely recommended for leisure walking & self-guiding is for those seeking adventure. Took us four hours to loop the full trail, with pit stops to get closer to the falls and lunch. It does get muddy in a few areas. The walking path in the second half get steep and rocky once you're on the shield. Parking was also limited, but it probably only got full since it was the long weekend. There are a couple picnic areas along the water & firepits with firewood available.

Beautiful hike, lots of options for beginners to more experienced. Actually very impressed, it seems like every turn revealed another lovely waterfall, and o course the Manitoba weather cooperated which made the day even more amazing

Make sure you have good shoes because it has some fairly muddy spots on the self guided trail and you'll need traction when climbing the muddier areas by the falls. Such a great and diverse trail with many different types of scenery from boreal forest to tall rockface and beautiful cascading waterfalls/rapids. Definitely make sure to do the 0.3km detour for an amazing elevated view! The extra 2.8km of the hike is less traveled but very serene and absolutely worth seeing viburnum falls.

Came here with a friend.Took us 2.5-3 hours to complete the entire 10km loop that they recommend.I would say this is a beginner type of hike. Only challenging bits were the end loop around the rapids as there is climbing. We came in early spring when the path was packed and icy and we took our time. We stopped and took photos. There are picnic tables and maps along the way for a self guided tour.Beautiful scenery. No pollution or trash/littering which is nice to see. Will return once the snow is gone!

A great place for a hike that offers a diverse terrain showing casing the Whiteshell in all its glory. The trails are well marked and maintained for easy traversing. This is a must do hike for those seeking fresh air and picturesque scenery. (At this current date, the water is high and the trails have some water on them)
