I was actually blown away by how good this shop was too me. Their computer quoted me $1000 for a job but they told me they thought they thought it would be a few hundred less. I gave them the go ahead and sure enough it ended up being $400 and change. They even gave me an appointment to take a look at an unrelated noise on my car for free a couple weeks later. Extremely communicative and friendly but most noteworthy of all, really reasonable on the price and really top notch work.

Really happy with the help and service the guys gave me today. We’re happy to take the time to answer my questions and show me a few tips on keeping my vehicle up to date. Would recommend 10/10. Thankyou!

I could not have asked more from the staff at Mechyannick Auto! I pulled up with freezing temperatures, three kids in tow and my window that was frozen open. They quickly got me in their warm rental car and were able to find the problem in my driver door. My family can’t thank them enough for everything today. If I ever need anything in Squamish again this will be my go to location for our Land Rover.

It started with a simple change of serpentine belt that was squealing after they replaced it. I called and asked them if they could have a look at it and re-tension it. They said that I had to book the next appointment available (2 weeks from then). They did not care that my belt was squealing and did not try to help me. I ended up having to tighten both belts myself.I thought that maybe it was just me getting upset too easily so I thought I would give them another car to look at.I told them the front end of the car had a knocking noise when rolling over bumps and that the serpentine belt or tensioner probably needed replacement.They confirmed the belt and tensioner needed replacement and said that it was a very time consuming job as they needed to take the engine out of the car. (It's not my job.. I trust them, I say ok).The other problem was the knocking in the front, they said it was coming from the strut mounts.. they replaced struts mounts and without saying anything also replaced sway bar links.End result, knocking noise still as strong, no improvement whatsoever, they fixed" something that could not produce a knocking noise as a strut is always under tension from the spring in the strut assembly. The online booking option on his website is great and the staff members are very efficient I getting back to you with any questions quickly, The communication is very clear and professional which is an excellent quality. I have had quite a bit of work done on my car in the past year (all normal wear and tear) and Yannick has always provided an excellent service, always done as much as he could with the budget that I had, he lets me know approximately how much it’ll cost before doing the work and has been very honest with me if he thinks the amount of repair needed is worth it or not since my car has a lot of mileage. I 100% recommend his services and will go back with any car needs that I have!

Best Mechanic I've ever been to, and I've been to a lot. I travel a lot. I've been to mechanics all over Canada. As a solo woman travelling, mechanics have tried to rip me off many times, it's usually a struggle to be respected. Yannick was very honest, showed me all the numbers and codes, and explained everything. He was very thorough in his inspection. And saved me a ton of money!

Not surprising that these guys have all five star reviews. I was having some weird transmission issues with my car and they were so thorough and communicative in figuring out what the problem was. They were very honest in their advice and work with you to figure out the best decision for repairs based on your vehicle and situation, rather than just trying to sell you stuff. I mostly spoke to Craig and he was lovely to work with. Will definitely be going to this shop all the time now for any future vehicle needs.

Searching for a good mechanic in Squamish has turned out to be like looking for a needle in a hay stack, surprisingly for a relatively small community! After many experiences with a variety of mechanics over the years, and a shocking experience more recently, I was relieved and impressed with the service provided on my Subaru at Mechyannick. Very reasonably priced, honest work, with professionals that seem to actually care about you and your vehicle. I came here after getting many recommendations for Yannick, and I'm glad I did! I'd highly recommend them!
