White Star Diner
If only this place could be a little bit bigger with more seating options, this would get the full five stars from me! Their food embodies how all diner food should be: it's obvious how much care and effort goes into making these delicious meals. The seating area left a lot to be desired since it was only a handful of tables, booths, and counter seating. My husband needed to borrow a chair to sit comfortably, but the server was definitely friendly and helpful with us throughout the experience. The parking is just ok, but I can definitely see how people can get frustrated trying to find a parking spot nearby.They have amazing shakes, and their poutine definitely lives up to the high ratings we had heard about! Definitely worth a stop!

Wonderful diner. I had poutine with pulled pork. The pulled pork was as good as any bbq place in America, tender and smoky. Raegan had a great BLT. We also had an amazing vanilla bean milk shake.The owner was super friendly and the diner itself was decorated with White Star themed ocean liners.We would go back anytime.

Friendly, family diner, with real fries and real gravy. The burgers are massive and addicting shakes, favourites being Vanilla Coffee and Nutella Banana. If you dont try this place, you'll regret your choices. #itswhatsfordinner

I went here based on the reviews, and it was amazing! Then the next day, I also happened to be downtown and I knew where I was taking my company. This place is amazing, if you haven't tried it yet, you need to and won't be disappointed!!

If your looking for an old fashioned diner and your coming from out of town, this is the best place to come. Had the bacon, mushrooms cheese burger. You won't leave hungry that's for sure. Thank you for staying open and bring back memories of old fashioned burgers.

Bacon mushroom cheddar burge was awesome. The poutine was good, might remember it being a little hotter but great flavor. Very friendly gentlemen prepared & served my food. My bad for not visiting more.

So my burger tasted bleachy and the coffee was awful, which was disappointing given it was 3 dollars, it is to date the most expensive bad coffee I have ever had.It was upsetting given I usually enjoy the food and atmosphere for quick, quiet lunches.

Classic “diner” experience, and good prices with excellent quality food. Great milk shakes, probably a few too many flavours to pick - see attached photos - if you get the chance, you will enjoy the visit.
