Our wedding at Graydon Hall was nothing short of spectacular. From the first time I got in touch with Marisa to the day of, everything was very smooth and professional. We had a lovely time at our tasting, and the food on the day of was exactly as promised. I would say that it was a little bit disappointing that prices did increase significantly from when we booked to when we had to pay, and having so many options for customization of our menu was a little bit overwhelming at times. In the end, you can tell that the staff at Graydon Hall are experts at what they do and we were not worried at all regarding the itinerary for the day, or if our vendors would work seamlessly together. Everything was a total breeze! Thank you so much.

Graydon Hall was the perfect venue for our wedding. We were married in May 2019 with about 200 guests, and the day was absolutely perfect. Thanks to Marissa and her team the day ran so smoothly - not one issue came up. The venue was such a beautiful backdrop that we hardly needed any decorations, and the fact that they do almost everything in house (source furniture, catering, drinks) made planning so easy. Our guests were blown away at the venue, the service and THE FOOD! Best in the city.

Attended my cousin’s wedding. Staff there are heartless. They don’t know problem solving, we just requested for one chair in a table for my son they refused. They don’t even show empathy. You would only pay for the place but hell no for the staff so rude.Especially “Kim” though we explained to her, she won’t bother helping you out. Trust me. Totally ripped off.

Beautiful building overall!!! Attended a wedding there and everything about the building was historical!! Would've been a 5 out of 5 if the wedding took place during the warmer months. My only negative was on the main floor after the ceremony was a bit too dark.

One of the better venues in the city! Beautiful spots for photos outside and inside. The servers are fast, kind and very helpful. The food here is phenomenal, you can tell they have a great chef. Despite having to make an immense amount of food the quality is top notch compared to other venues/banquet halls. One thing to note is parking isn't free and you have to watch your step coming in the front as the floor is uneven and I witnessed many people tripping.

I had my wedding at Graydon Hall Manor in July 2022 and I can't say enough good things about this wedding venue. The wedding venue itself is gorgeous and the food is amazing, but what set this venue apart for us was the customer service from the planning team. Planning a wedding can be stressful and expensive, and the team at Graydon were very organized and professional. They were prompt at responding to emails (no matter how many were sent!) and answered all questions thoroughly. Marisa was our planner and she was great! I had a great time planning my wedding and the team at Graydon made the experience so much less stressful than it could have been! Thank you Graydon Hall!

Oh my gosh, where do I start? My husband and I got married here last summer, and even to this day we can vividly remember how stunning and magical this venue was. Our coordinator was Marisa (extremely kind, patient, considerate, professional—so many positives!), and she was an absolute pleasure to work with. She guided us each step of the way and made sure that everything stayed on track. We’re quite indecisive and had trouble deciding what we wanted, but Marisa accommodated any changes and provided suggestions to help us solidify our vision.Whether it be for the gorgeous gardens, the historical manor, or even just the food—you can’t go wrong! We still hear compliments (especially for the food) a year later. Thank you again for the wonderful experience, we definitely look forward to attending or hosting another event here in the future!

The venue is beautiful and my wedding day was perfect but the experience of planning with Graydon Hall was terrible. The way I was treated gave me the impression that GHM does not take your wedding seriously and does not value you as a customer/bride. I had questions about logistics and had to continuously follow up in email, left messages, and call to get a response. The responses were always short and missing information. I was eventually told that any questions I had could wait until we were within the 6months before my wedding date as they focus on the weddings the have in the immediate future. I do think this is fair but would have appreciated them telling me this upfront vs. ignoring me so I could adjust my expectations. However, when they wanted payment they called me several times a day and emailed me with the expectation I drop off a cheque the day they provided the final estimate. It’s unfortunate that when you need support, they take their time getting back to you, but when they need something they find the time to email and call. I didn’t feel valued as a customers/bride and it left the impression that they only see your wedding day as a pay cheque/transaction.The Canopy is ~$16,400. GHM told me that if the wedding the night before or night after books the canopy as well then we could split the cost. This is not true. GHM charged each bride/wedding 60% of the total cost, which is not a split. Essentially with both weddings paying that, you end up paying 120% of the total cost. What is that extras $3200 for? I was originally told it was to get the canopy ready/reset between weddings and when I asked Nicole the director/owner what went into getting the tent ready - she told me it was none of my business and I had to just wrap my head around the price. I never said I wasn’t going to pay the increased/hidden fee, I was just wondering what I was paying for with the extra 20% - which I think is a fair question. This lacks transparency and leaves me with the understanding that GHM would just like you to pay $3200 additional for an unknown “cost”. Also two weeks before my wedding they told me that the bride the night before needed to add a secondary overflow canopy & if I didn’t want it on my wedding day then I had to pay $1200 to have it removed. In my opinion the secondary tent obstructs the view and just looks awkward/random on the grass if you’re not using it. I had to really fight and argue that it was unfair to expect me to pay for something from a different wedding that I didn’t ask for or want for mine. I would assume the wedding the night before would have already paid the set up and take down fee for the second tent they requested. Graydon Hall made every step of planning feel like a fight/money grab. It was really unpleasant. We have a contact at Event Rental Group who offered us a discount as long as it was ok with GHM. I asked, they said no, and when I asked why, GHM told me it’s because “we want to make money off you”. I appreciate GHM is a business, but there are more tactful ways to communicate. My wedding day was very good, everything ran smoothly and the food was 10/10, service was 10/10 & the bar service was 10/10. I really debated on leaving a review because I did have a perfect wedding day, but I ultimately hope this gives other brides the heads-up on what they’re in for when booking here. With all of these issues I had, I connected with Nicole the director/owner of Graydon Hall to express my frustration & I was met with aggression, defensiveness & a lack of professionalism. I have never been spoken to so rudely. When I got off the phone with her, I was in tears. If you do have your wedding here, my best advice is to get everything in writing because the price or policy was never what was promised. I understand GHM is a business, so no issues with paying for the things I ask for, but I do expect transparency around what I’m paying for and to be treated with professionalism.

My husband and I could not have chosen a better venue to host our wedding in November 2021. The staff delivered first class service from start to finish. Our expectations were exceeded in every way. A heartfelt thank you to Nicole and her team for exceptional service and expertise. You made our day shine!
