Saskatoon CO-OP Home Center

I ordered a special order door. The delivery, I was told, would be mid January. I found a door in Saskatoon and installed it for my customer. I went to cancel the door on December 1st and was told that the door was here early but I wasn’t called. The Coop charged me a 25% restocking fee. A little short sighted on their part. At no point was I told of the restocking fee. My business has used Coop for building materials in the past but I don’t think I will be back again.

Usually a decent spot for some things I havnt found elsewhere. Last visit was a bit off tho , had some trim pieces cut that is sold by the foot, there were left overs of course but the employee who was assisting me was attempting to pressure me into taking the cutoffs as well and paying for them.One thing being said was “well what are we supposed to do with it now that it’s cut not like we can just easily sell it to another customer”Not exactly a cool tactic to use as someone who won’t just say no will get stuck paying for extra that they didn’t need. I am not sure if this is management telling the staff to do this or an employee trying to take initiative.Make sure not to let them pressure you into getting extras you may not need. By the foot is typically marked up to compensate for cutoffs and could have been tossed and profit would have still been made.All in all I have nothing against the place just a weird interaction and hope it is not a reoccurring theme.

I would like to send kudos to the staff at customer service at the Coop Home centre, item advertised in flyer wasn't in stock. I emailed and they ordered me one. Product was received within a week and they called me to come get it. Sale price honored.

Good prices and home improvement options, but my last visit did not live upto the usual standards. Called several times and it was not answered, went in store and was difficult hunting down anyone to help. Eventually learnt no one available in the project center to help.

Staff are always extremely helpful. Prices competitive with other stores.

sad to learn they won't be keeping keylon spray paint...great for crafting. Gift bags are 5 cents each

Nice ladder selection. Excellent Customer service from the feller at the project desk. Above and beyond.

Every staff member was exceedingly nice and friendly. Clean and warm place to pick up any hardwares/goods!
