CIBC Branch with ATM

The reps are undertrained and don't care if you sit waiting for them, even if you booked an appointment! They just blame each other for not informing the other! They push you out of their offices as quickly as possible if they consider you of no value to their business... Not everyone has copious amounts of money, it doesn't mean they're not valuable. Steer CLEAR of CIBC. I've been baking with CIBC for 10 years and this is the year I finally switch banks.

Yesterday I was expecting a call from one of the employees from this branch as I have been told to that she is on Lunch break, very odd to have a lunch break at 1540 Hrs. around, anyways no one called I was waiting in the parking lot when I went back in someone inquired about my waiting and I narrated what happened. She said the employees is already with another customer and it's too late today to serve me. She went back and forth and confirmed to me that someone will give me a call exactly at 10 AM this morning. No one called no update whatsoever. Looks like the employees are trying to work but there is a huge communication gap between the employees. No one knows what going around. Hope they will improve their communication skills between them and make sure they are on the same page with the customers. I will update my stars if I find them better in future.

I’ve been with CIBC almost 10 years. In that 10 years CIBC has failed to help me achieve anything. This is the bank for you if your perfect credit and or new to Canada, but if your a Canadian, they don’t care about you regardless of location.

I was new to Canada, I tried making an appointment but the bookings were full so I went to the Bank in the hope to activate my account as I needed to pay my rent soon.The employees were really helpful.I met Jasleen Kaur, she have activated my bank account, she took time out of her schedule to explain me all the things regarding banking.it was really very helpful.I'm really thankful to her and other employees.it's been a delightful experience in the Bank.

Just wanted to write a quick review for Dyana Bruno. This past year she has been absolutely fantastic, while helping us deal with estate and mortgage matters. She was with us every step of the way, and even now, as her part is done, she is still following up with us to make sure everything is on track. Dyana, you are truly wonderful, and we would recommend you to anyone, as well as all the staff at cibc. Thank you.

I went in to conduct some banking with a teller and there was a belligerent customer screaming at the staff. I want to say that the staff handled the customer interaction in a fantastic way and ensured the safety of all other customers in the center, making sure we could all do our banking quick and safe. I hope that all the staff is okay and I appreciate how they handled the situation.

Worst bank ever, never had a issue with holding my cheques and right before rent and car payment they decide to only release $100 of my cheque. WORST DONT BANK WI TH THEM

While I don't actually bank here I have gone in on several occasions regarding matters foreign exchange (after finding old Mexican pesos). The staff are always very pleasant and accommodating which I believe is different from how banks were many years ago when if you were not a customer they were not too pleased to do anything to help you. The few occasions that I have visited here have been positive enough such about if I ever need their banking services I would open an account at CIBC.
