My friend Frank introduced me to this place and said that it's his favorite meat market and deli. I was delighted to meet Jan and purchase some rib eye steaks which he hand cut and trimmed. When the customers in line heard that it was my first visit, every one of them gave the place a glowing review which is the great sign of a great business. It's very tidy and well stocked so I will definitely be back to try some of the many products they sell.

Wow, 37 years ago Jan started up this deli in the area where we lived. We continued to need/enjoy these products as we moved ever further north and now from Didsbury. Try the Kracow sausage - amazing!!

I take it from you reading my review that you haven’t shopped here yet. Well, what are you waiting for!?Local family run business. Excellent excellent quality meats across the board (my German family is hard to please!). Lots of hard to find European goodies as well. These guys have been a staple for me for several years. That won’t change

I love this deli. I highly recommend the blood sausage and the perrogies. For a special treat after 3pm on Fridays they do an amazing smoked salmon. Very authentic polish deli. Amazing staff and food.

A nice little store with a basic but solid and satisfying range of European deli options. Consistent, welcoming, and friendly, personalized service. The location is easy to access, but as a result parking can be tight with just few spots in front and then finding one on the street. The small interior space quickly fills up at busy times. This shop deserves its high popularity and we too are regular customers.

We are regulars at Jan's!No better place in Calgary for meats and cold cuts that the knowledgeable staff cuts to our demanding requests!We also get European breads, Polish treats and desserts. A well stocked family run small store!

Paid $2.60 for a spicy pepperoni that tasted like honey garlic. I came back immediately and informed them, they didn’t care. Looking closer there were two types available in the display case, honey garlic and spicy. They didn’t replace it. Don’t shop here. They aren’t worthy of locals business if this is how they treat a new customer especially if their prices are higher than Safeway up the street. I won’t return.

Love this place, nice owners, quality meats, the deli meats have no preservatives and a healthy option for our kids lunches, also love their meat perogies, cabbage rolls and mushroom dumplings!
