Food was decent! The sushi was more Korean style than Japanese, so if you’re looking for authentic sushi then this is not really that, but it’s good food! The takoyaki was deep fried which was interesting. The service was okay, overall a nice place.

Had the spider tempura and Aburi Set B. Food was pretty good overall, I really appreciate the rice to sushi ratio. It's good that each sushi piece is bite size and with not too much rice.I did find the sauce on the Aburi Set B a little bit overpowering the torchy sushi flavors.

The food, the vibe, the service, all just an amazing experience. The really chill vibe is great if you’re going out for dinner and drinks with friends or just looking for a chill first date. The fish is fresh, cuts are nice and the presentation is on point. 100% going back again.

The atmosphere of Kibo was really good. It had very nice vibe of Japan. I had spicy roll set, spicy crab meat roll, and shrimp and veggie tempura. The rolls had big amount of spicy sauce and had crunchy taste. It was extremely good. The sushi was overall all fresh and really tasty. Customer service was fast and nice. I would recommend this place. We are definitely coming back next time :)

Very nice and cozy dine-in restaurant close to Finch. We love the vibes hereThe price is very reasonable. We ordered Love Boat for Three but it was a lot and I believe it could fit for 4 people.. Recommend to call for reservation since there is not many tables there

Located in a nice little corner off Yonge and Centre, just north of Finch. A few parking spots available if you can nab one otherwise there's street parking. Nice modern minimalistic design and decor for eat-in option of about 10 tables. Great food presentation. Taste and freshness were solid for a decent meal but not over the top. Very good prices for portion size.

Excellent food, pricing, and ambiance.Menu is quite varied with your typical japanese dishes: the tempura gyoza was an interesting variation of something we only see in a panfried option; the sashimi was excellent, rivaling much more expensive restaurants in yorkville; the beef tataki was great as well with a bit of charring which gave it a little extra something; rolls are very balanced but could do with a tighter rolling to avoid falling apart; chicken karage was very tender; bulgogi was good.Choice of sake was as good as a place at this level can get, very well priced, and with great presentation too.Service was very quick although a bit cold.Parking available at the back but also in the persian plaza.
