Okanagan Rail Trail Access & Oyama Boat Launch
Smaller and very busy beach with wonderfully warm water and access to the rail trail on both sides of wood lake. Nice little corner store for ice cream and cold drinks right across the road and plenty of parking. Can't beat this especially when you can bring your dog!

It's a nice portion of the okanagan rail trail. It has a few beach paths at the start by the parking lot. A dog park is also at the parking lot.

Was with the Geared 4 Life" group out of Kamloops today. Always enjoy the ride from Vernon to Oyama. Sometimes continue the ride to the end of Wood Lake

The rail trail is awesome! You can ride all the way around Wood lake, although the Lake Country end could use some work for safety on bicycle.The boat launch area is quite nice with potty boxes and plenty of parking. Although the layout is a bit strange and it's missing a dock area for loading/unloading so you end up with folks blocking the launch for longer than otherwise necessary.
