Martyn Sand and Gravel Haulage

I ordered beach sand for my court. The price with delivery was amazing, the amount delivered was perfect and the service was excellent. I will definitely be using them for any further projects.

I've used Martyn Sand and Gravel twice now, and both experiences have been top notch. Quick to answer the phone, friendly guys, excellent pricing, and delivery was within 24 hours. After using them the first time, I was surprised to find they had such a poor review. On both occasions I purchased SAND and GRAVEL, and both of those products have been excellent.

I ordered river rock from these clowns and it's half dirt and sand now they won't do anything about it ... so much for putting down fabric to avoid weeds.

Don't waste your time going there, we drove in from out of town cause it said they were open till noon (there around 11am) doors were locked no one was working. Went to Oshawa sand and gravel instead

We ordered triple mix to top dress our lawn from Martyn's. It ended up killing off the existing grass in large patches and instead sprouted weeds that reached about 2-3' high. We had a gardening and landscaping person take a look and they let us know the weed is Lambs Quarters and is usually caused by a calcium deficiency and can reach up to 6' high, and the only way to remove is to pull them by hand. We told another friend the problems we were having with our lawn since adding the triple mix and heard via someone familiar with Martyn's that they don't actually sell triple mix, what we got was garden variety top soil.... with weeds and nutrient deficiency. After all the money and hard work to cover our back yard we're back at square one and have to redo it all again next year as well as pull huge areas of weeds that we never had before so I would not recommend purchasing from them.
