Service was slow at first, waited 50 minutes for salad to come but then the next hour with the food and chef was enjoyable. The waitress was attentive. Miso soup was a bit bland, would recommend they add wakame and tofu, the miso/dashi tasted store bought and for a lobster miso you would have expected the water they used to be lobster broth. Beef and lobster here is excellent. They have live specimens in the tank like king crab, dungeous crab and lobster. Overall good evening here. Reservations required.

We were in a group of 8 and bought 3 of the romance course for 2" and we were all extremely full! The service is beyond amazing! our total was $299 (including 15% tip) which is a pretty decent price I believe. Make sure you reserve before as they only take reservations! enjoyed it very much. We had to share a large room for a little bit."

Gyu King Teppanyaki
Been to different Teppanyaki restaurants before so I expected a lot more more fun. This is the opposite. The cook didn’t talk or do knife tricks or anything. They cooked, put food into plates and watch you eat. My friend and I felt bad and awkward that we can’t really talk to each other and slowly enjoy the meal while the cook is waiting for us to finish to serve the next course. The food was okay, nothing special but overpriced.Service is poor. They didn’t ask if I want any drink when we first sat down. It took the server a long time like 15-20mins to bring ice cream after we were done with the main course. Absolutely not worth the money.

This may not be the one offering the best of the best teppanyaki cuisine in town but definitely one of the best value for money choice of teppanyaki in yvr. Keep an eye on the groupon offer and make your visit.

Oh the food was delicious and ambience was great, the host Mark was very warm and helpful. It was mesmerizing to watch the chef prepare the food right at the front of your table. Very delicious , cooked masterfully and precisely.Oh what an experience.

Me and my girlfriend got the 11 course meal for 2 and an order of their A5 Japanese wagyu beef. In short it was incredibly. All the food was cooked and seasoned perfectly. The chef and staff were amazing, and the food tasted even better. Would definitely recommend giving it a try! Added photos of all courses we ate.

I really enjoyed the experience, it was not very busy I found that there were always people to service us when we went. The food was delicious. We ordered an 11 course meal and although the portions are small we were full by the end of the meal.

Exclude the M5-steak, price would be $60 for all the rest of dishes, but every thing that they served like the appetizer that I had in other else’s restaurant which they put it in menu. And that also taste just so bland and non-surprise which can’t blame the chef but the recipe. In contrast, the only thing make me feel a little bit better which the chef was nice. People who gave 5 stars, I really doubted who they are.一句话：太忽悠人了！

We went there during lunch on a Saturday and it was a great experience. The service was AMAZING and the staff were very kind and friendly. The chef also did great and watching him prepare the food on the hot surface was very entertaining. The food also tasted superb and I would recommend coming in with an empty stomach. I even forgot to take pictures of all the courses since they all smelled and tasted delicious. By the end of our 11 courses, my boyfriend and I were so full and satisfied. Would definitely recommend this place for groups and couples who want to enjoy great food and even greater service! Would definitely come again.

Located on the second floor of the building, accessible by an elevator, the staff are friendly, accommodating, and quite helpful.They have live lobster and abalone, can’t get any fresher than that!A fun lunch or dinner, they offer all-you-can-eat, set meals, and add-ons and accommodate special dietary restrictions.Give them a try when you need a break from the shops!
