Balzac's Stratford
Great atmosphere, beautifully decorated coffee shop. Nice patios in the front and the back.Coffee is delicious and there’s a wide choice of sweets including cookies, tarts and my personal favourite, chocolate croissant. They even have sandwiches, juices and sodas.

Consistently, fantastic coffee, a good selection of baked goods. And I enjoy the little seating area outback. Probably the best coffee in Stratford, although the tall ceilings and busyness make for a fairly loud, Cafe experience.

A very beautiful cafe, hope I could be here again in summer so that to have a coffee in the yard.

Fun little spot, great to go and chill there, the food and drink feels a little pricy, but is nice. I was there at a busy time, and this obviously meant staff had less time to be friendly. Loved the atmosphere, though: a kinda quirky coffee shop with croissants and mocha I'd recommend to anyone.

Having come to Stratford for a day trip and having several coffees through out the day, this coffee shop is the shop to wait in line for.Super customer service and the 'farmer roast' was a coffee flavour that was not familiar to me. Something that had me stunned and questioning if I enjoyed it or not. In the end I still think about the coffee and the delicate flavours it had. It was decadent.#locguides

A nice coffee shop option in Stratford, and the original too! With two patios, you can enjoy the summer weather, and there is lots of seating inside as well. It can get a little busy sometimes, so be prepared for a bit of a crowd.

I was visiting Stratford for the festival. Found this place while walking in downtown Stratford. There was a massive line up which showed us this place must be good. So glad we went inside, the coffee was phenomenal! Will definitely visit again whenever I am in Stratford!

My husband and I have been going to Balzac's for YEARS in Toronto-- it's our favorite coffee shop! Visiting Stratford for the first time, we made sure to visit this location because this is where it was founded. We picked up some drinks to go for the road trip home. As well as a few cans of ground espresso. They had a pretty good selection of Balzacs coffee on the wall! Decor was really cute! They had a few shelves with vintage coffee tins and Stratford themed posters.
