Have just had an excellent experience while shopping for hiking gear. Kudos to Chris and the rest of the crew who went out of their way to help me out. Like many, with a slumping CAD, have been looking hard for a bargain and found it here along with an outstanding quality. All the pieces I've got over last 5-8 years from Eddie Bauer were able to maintain an almost new look and seemed to endure urban and outdoors exposure better than their competitors in any price range. I am going to look more into that more, but it appears that the company effectively brings new fabric research and maintains meticulous standards in the production of all their products. The store maintains a good stock and while regular prices may often be out of reach - as they are for me - drop in and check their sales every ones in a while... You may be positively surprised. Last, but not least, the warranty... There very few companies that offer this level of coverage these days.

Great warranty. Great manager Chris. Absolutely no hassle returning my old and faulty Eddie Bauer jacket for a new one. Had the old one for 3 years. Got the new one for free. You've got a customer for life :)

I had a damaged backpack I had not had for very long, & brought it here to see what they could do.I learned that this store will accept goods that are damaged, ie backpack, and will give you a brand new replacement within a year of purchase. Didn't even need a receipt.Great quality items, courteous and helpful staff, and happy customers. Definitely recommend this company!!

Eddie bauer has number of stores in ottawa.it's a good brand for students as well as new comers who came to study here.In my opinion,the products are pretty much costly but they have life time warranty.The best thing is to buy during offers like (Black Friday,Boxing day,Christmas ).The benefit for students is that you will get discount+15%student discount.Finally they are very quality products with life time warranty.

I was under the impression you could not go wrong with anything you purchased from Eddie Bauer. WRONG! My wife and I purchased gloves recently, what we considered rather expensive gloves that we hoped would tackle Ottawa winters. Well we haven't even come close to how cold Ottawa can be and they aren't even remotely doing the job. Minus 10 and my hands are freezing. Stay away from the men's super down gloves or the women's lodge down gloves as they are not worth the money.

Expensive, but the products are top-of-the-line. The goods are also durable: these items will last years and years while cheaper goods won't. Staff are extremely helpful. Its an example of getting what you pay for. I usually buy from here for Christmas presents for my hard to buy for" family members."

Brought a complicated situation for a return to this store, employee Conor was the one who handled it and he did it like an absolute gem. He was kind, patient and understanding to the situation and made us feel comfortable with his welcoming tone. We truly appreciated it.
