We got a free quote and we were excited that it was a very competitive rate and all the inclusive features that they offered (after reading other reviews it seems that the inclusive features were actually up-sale options and not as advertised). The person we were talking to told us they could move us on the Monday and then proceeded to take a deposit to hold that date. However 2days before the move date and on the weekend no less we received an email stating they were now no longer able to do the job. We did however get our deposit back fairly easily. But after reading the reviews, I feel like we dodged a bullet.Tl;dr. Booked an appointment and within 48hrs of move date cancelled.

Worst experience ever. SCAM ARTISTS. I have filed against them. Will update later. DON NOT USE THESE GUYS. SCAM ALERT! They broke my stuff and won't take responsibility and they double the price. Won't give you the official scale weight and hold your stuff hostage. I'M COMING FOR YOU AND I WILL NOT STOP! EVER! You picked on the WRONG Canadian! ZERO STARS!

This is to bring to your attention that on August 7th, 2021 at 11:28 pm I received my belongings, yet all are damaged boxes, my possession inside the boxes have been broken, dismantled and handled poorly. But, most of all my 65inch LG smart LED 4k OLED TV is damaged that cost $7k+ is damaged!!!! after I paid for extra protection from you.I am furious with Canadian Reliable, you took poor care of my belonging after putting my trust in your company to make my moving experience less stressful. I provided you with 100% excellent condition moving boxes, my TV was in 100% excellent condition as well.**August 8th-7:56amFurthermore as I went through my things this morning, all my expensive dishes are all broken, some of my possessions are missing, my home decor is damaged!!!My tv won’t turn on either on top of it being bend and cracked.I need this rectified as soon as possible or I will be filing a lawsuit.This company is a scam!!!! the drive was disrespectful and tired to argue with me about my damaged boxes and broken TV.BEWAREEEEEEEEEEE***update September 13th 2021Canadian Reliable Van Lines refused to take accountability for my damaged property and told me that the insurance doesn't cover as they are not responsible. They also seem to misinform me that they used a third party company to transport my belonging without my consent. I have missing items, damaged furniture and now I am suppose to leave it alone and move on!!Tasha from claim has yet to respond to my email. I decided to take legal action and file a lawsuit with the FMCSA. I sent a complaint over to the BBB as well.

PLEASE TRUST AND BELIEVE THESE REVIEWS!!!Don't be fooled by the relatively lower price they offer. I am still waiting for my stuff to arrive, they picked it up in March from Halifax and this is May I still don't have my things. The last time I called, they basically cut the phone on me. I'm still in disbelief and shock over the service and the audacity of this company. DONT SIGN THE CONTRACT THEY GIVE YOU. OR BETTER STILL READ THE FINE PRINTupdate:They didn't show up within the time frame they said they would and they did not bother calling me. They showed up randomly on a day i was away for work with no prior communication and charged me for storage, missed delivery and redelivery. They refused to provide redelivery information until i provided the password to the e transfer. After i provided the password, they told me unfortunately they wont be redelivering. These guys are wicked and cruel. STAY AWAY

If I could, I would give a 0 star... A big no in all aspects! I got a quote, and they charged me $200 for a deposit fee, like 10 min after I decided to cancel and called back. I was told I would see the refund within a few days. It's been two weeks, and I haven't gotten a refund. I called today to ask about it, and I was placed on hold. They never got back to me, and when I tried calling back, they did not pick up the phone anymore!!The person that reached to me was Matthew. If you ever come across this company, run away as fast as you can.

Good day.Stay away from this bunch of crooks. They dont know the value of time and commitment. Finally, I got my stuff after 35 days. We were sleeping on the floors coz we didnt have any bedding. Coz we gave our stuff to these movers.I read the reviews after i sent the stuff. These guys will never pickup ur phone, they are liars and big scammers. No respect to these ppl.Dont know how this company is being managed.Long story short, take a uhaul and get the stuff or hire someone else. Atleast someone else can do a little better job than these ppl.

I was quoted one price and then charge me more. If I didn't pay the difference I would have to go to Halifax to pick it up. When the truck came I was was video it. The driver started to swear and flip out. The driver flipped out on his helper and threatened him not to bring it up the drive way. I run down the drive way fell smashed my face cut my hands and knees I had blood all over me. My husband's ashes were on the truck. They damaged the urn from the driver throwing my stuff around. They should never be able to us Canadian in there name. This is very disgraceful to our country. The driver should be fired from his actions against the customer helper and the company he represents.

The company seems to have a bad reputation already and me posting anything might not change anything for anyone. I hired them for moving and storage, The payment was due on delivery but next day after pick up their accountant Grace starting calling for full payment. I told her that your team member Matthew confirmed that I need to pay on delivery but she refused to honour what Matthew confirmed. I am paying storage but they are still threatening to dispose my stuff. The value of moving charges has already exceeded my cost of stuff I am moving. I was quoted $2K and already the invoice they gave is $5K. I further received a disposal letter which I need to act in 1 week inspite of being in storage period and me paying them for. I wonder how can someone survive in business after being so unprofessional

Please trust these reviews!First of all, the moving company left a good impression.It was noted that the truck driver called briefly the night before the agreed date. This did not happen. I then called the company and was only told upon inquiry that the truck would not come that day and they would reschedule the move for the next day. The moving company was neither really available nor friendly and informative after down payment of the 200 CAD.The next day two people came with a truck from U-Haul (which is not even the company with which the contract was made) and loaded our boxes.According to the original agreement, the boxes should arrive at the agreed destination after about two to three days. In the end, it took over two weeks, during which the company also gave almost no information about the location of our abandoned moving boxes.Furthermore, many things are damaged, including two suitcases and a table top. In some cases it looks as if the boxes have been opened. There are footprints on a cloth bag that were not there before.This moving company is scam!

This is a fraudulent company .RUDE MANAGERBEWARE OF THIS COMPANY DO BUSINESS WITH THEM AT YOUR OWN RISK.This company is a scam and I don’t know how come they are still in business. I referred my sister to them for a move from Calgary to Ontario in august of 2022. First it took them over a month and she had to buy clothes for her kids.From the initial $950 which they charged her, they arrived and Said she has to pay $1,700 with the excuse that they sent a driver to Calgary twice. Please readers bear in mind that she only sent 10 bags of clothes and a rug. After taking over a month to arrive in Ontario against the 2weeks they told her. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY.
