Vida Spa Whistler

I was blessed to have experienced the Ayurvedic Swedana 90 minute massage treatment this March.The highlights for me were . . .1. Very hot oil slowly poured onto your body and then massaged into your skin, hydrating and loosening your tension. Moving from one area to the next - forehead and collar bone areas stood out as exceptional2. The steam experience in the cabinet was incredibly detoxifying and next level calming. The dried flowers and herbs incorporate into the steam and envelope your body with natural therapeutic joy.3. Dry brushing and exfoliating is way better than I expected after steaming and oiling the skin! It wakes everything back up and prepares you to get back out into the world with pep in your step!Definitely will do this experience again!The only piece we were disappointed in is that when we arrived we did not get setup with robes or a locker in the health club.

Just came out of a Swedish massage with Megan and it was the best massage I've ever had in my life. Megan was professional, attentive and all around excellent. Megan is an asset to Vida Spa and I'll be returning on the strength of the experience with her.

Went to book two massages for upcoming stay at hotel. Prices are very high for a spa that does not exclusively use RMT or registered therapists. Furthermore, RMT are not allowed for couples treatments here. Very strange glad I tried early so I can book at another place in Whistler. Staff were nice on phone.

Incredibly disappointed by my experience at this spa. Considering how expensive it was, it pains me to say it was the worst experience I’ve ever had. The staff were apathetic at reception, my service was rushed when I arrived 15 mins early as requested and more critically the massage was ineffective. I spoke up when the pressure was wrong but it still caused a strain in my neck when I went to bed. It’s also frustrating that staff assume all guests are aware one technique is more expensive than the other. This is not clear on the website which only lists the price of a “classic massage” for an RMT. I was unwillingly up sold and forced to choose between Swedish or Deep Tissue, that is inarguably a misleading practice. Spare me the “I will pass on this comment” that I have seen in previous reviews. I can confirm it is still an unorganized and unprofessional experience.

I with my family and friends have a fantastic time in Fairmont chàteau! Spa pool area is awesome, good servers with friendly staffs! Massage booking is busy, highly recommended book ahead of time! Thank you Hannah & Jacqueline look after us, enjoyed it!

great experience. had a brow and lash tint for the first time, and now i’m hooked! the lady was amazing that took care of me but i can’t remember her name ! great place would go again

Just want to thank bonnie and her staff for providing once agsin a great spa experience in Whistler today. I beleive this is the best place in BC for all your needs.

Edit : went and gave them another shot. AMAZING. They have more personnel in the front. Rebecca was kind and thoughtful and if you’re looking to get a life changing massage, book with Jacqueline!!We were here to celebrate father’s day and the reception over the phone mentioned that ‘oh we don’t do anything special for events like those, we’re not part of the hotel.’ Okay, we’re not expecting anything, just letting them know why we’re there. Once we get there, we were told to use the facilities first and then come back 5 minutes prior, we both had a different starting time, so I went there first 5 mins beforehand, I was intercepted by a large group of people who were wanting to book an appointment, this was my first visit to the spa and I was not aware of what to do or where to go, she was not paying attention to this at all knowing that I will be late for my appointment, after awhile i had to interrupt the group in front of me and asked her where should I go, and she looked annoyed and just pointed ‘upstairs’, apparently I was supposed to also fill out the form so that took an extra time. Massage portion was good but I did not receive the full 60 mins. This did not end here, my husband who was supposed to start his massage could not find anyone in the reception area, it was also his visit, so he missed 20 mins of his appointment as well. Please train your staff better. This was absolutely one of the worst experiences that should’ve been avoided if the receptionist working on that day was a little more attentive.

Had a fantastic exfoliation and wrap massage with Robilyn. I have braids in my hair, and she had a great idea to use a paper wrap to avoid getting the sugar scrub and oil into my hair, adjusting it and my hair as needed. This kind of service isn’t always considerate of things like hair extensions, so I appreciated the extra care. Very relaxing experience, glad I came to the spa.
