Horrific. I paid this vet to have my dog privately cremated, which means i would get my beloved pups ashes back. This vet put the order through in error as generalized cremation which means my dog was cremated with several other animals and his remains were disposed of by the crematorium and his remains were lost to us forever. The crematorium confirms the vet made the error. My child and I are traumatized by this vet. He lacks empathy and will dismiss the hurt he causes. I have filed a formal complaint. Please dont trust Terra Nova Vet with your most cherished fur babies

Our cat dead right after took the medication first time they gave us.They have noticed that my cat’s heart rate was high, and they told us he would be fine, and gave us the prescription. We followed the prescription, in the following morning, we gave our cat the first pill. In the afternoon, my cat started to breath heavily. We called the vet and was told doctor was unreachable at that point but would call back soon. Before they called back, my poor cat died. we called the hospital again, the nurse sounds shocked and told us would call doctor immediately. We were so grieved, our cat was acting normal just couple days ago and now he was gone. We took him to cremation. One week has passed since that happened, his doctor NEVER CALLED BACK. I did my research, there were a big chance my cat died because of his heart couldn’t handle the heavy dose of medication. We trusted the vet, we knew they have noticed about the heart rate, but they negligent it and gave the prescription. The worst part is at this point, we are still unable to talk to the doctor. We called three time, walked in once, they are never there.PLEASE FIND ANOTHER VET IF YOU CAN.

Took my dog and cat here for a nail trimming and my dogs nails were cut far too low. One back paw had 3 nails cut so low they bled and my dog couldn't walk on her paw for 2 days. They didn't even tell us about it. They just washed the blood from her paw and gave her back. We figured it out on our own when our dog couldn't walk and we looked and saw the bloody vein exposed. The other back paw also had one clipped vein. Completely unacceptable for a vets office to do.

I had an almost identical experience to penny ye. My cat started to only have issues, when he went into terra nova vet. I left my cat for boarding because I was going to go on vacation. On the first day, I left my cat to terra nova vet clinic, I noticed the vet assistant almost giving 10x the amount of insulin needed for my cat. 10 days later, my cat has passed away. Vet assistants: Please check the vet's orders before administering the medication and sign with initials in a med chart instead of checkmarks. This is to know who administered and to insure the correct dosage regardless of how acute or chronic the pet is in.

At first I thought this place was very good. They were open to the public from 8am to 12am with 24/7 hospitalization. all with one doctor working. Their blood tests, x-rays etc.. were priced very reasonably too.But then after my dog was hospitalized here for an entire week, not so much.Dobey had gone in after getting pushed away from ironwood animal hospital, and they send him home that night. If I'm being honest, he was dying, so I don't know why he was sent home. But not the biggest problem. We went back the next day (16 oct 20) to have him hospitalized for the next 6 days. We visited him everyday. They said he was on IVF 24/7. and they claimed he was being taken care of. He looked like he was getting weaker but because some symptoms went away day by day, we didn't say anything. They sent him home Thursday night because they said he'll most likely start eating at home. We weren't sure, but we believed in the process, we believed in the doctor.Friday afternoon after getting fed, he threw up. We immediately called the office and they said it was normal for him to throw up even though they had claimed that he wasn't at the vet anymore. They told us to give some of the medication they had given us the first night (the night we took him home) We listened because, what else could we do? 11pm that night he throws up again, we wait and ask some friends and family before calling this time. % minutes later, he vomits blood. We again immediately call the vet, they said they were closing and can't do anything even though it was only approximately 11:30pm. They told us to go to 24/7 emergency vet. When we got to the vet, they had essentially explained the same things that Terra Nova vet had, but they said hen was dehydrated. How can my Dobey be dehydrated after being on IVF for 6 days straight. This brings up the question of negligence and malpractice, personally I can't say anything further because I'm not a vet, but the College of veterinarians of Bc can.Honestly the entire process was sketchy but we had to believe. Many times when we visited (we visited everyday), he peed himself and no one cleaned with mess, not to mention he has a bacterial disease going on. As well as, the receptionist said he was drinking, but later when I asked the doctor if he was eating or drinking, he said they don't offer water because he was on IVF. And the dehydration part as well.I honestly didn't care about the money because I thought everything was priced better than anywhere else even though over $3000 was spend to basically have my Dobey die.He definitely should not have gone home that night. There's also the question of malpractice and not caring for your dog when you're not there. Was the IVF even hooked up? After some research, we found that this vet is currently being sued by someone with similar experience to mine. All in all, I do believe they properly diagnosed him, but dobey was most definitely not taken care of properly.Dobey was only 7 months old and died from internal bleeding and organ failure. the picture below is him.

Ive been coming to Dr. Chaudry since I had moved to Richmond nearly 6 years ago. He is an incredible veterinarian, you can tell immediately he has genuine care and concern for the animals he treats just by the way he talks to them. He is patient, knowledgeable and most importantly took great care of my best friend!

took my large dog in an emergency. The doctor came in early as soon as he knew I had arrived. He was very tender with Cooper and his manner very calming. Although Cooper would fit in a cage, he kept him tethered in the back room so he'd be more comfortable. Both the staff snd Doctor were outstanding !
