Fascinating place! Interesting concrete faerie cottages built in the 1930's by socialist Charles Macdonald. Boulder beach and a beautiful view.

Chales MacDonald's colourful cottages are an off overlooked tourist spot. Quite the curiosity. You cannot go in the as they are private property. In summer be sure to visit Charles MacDonald house in Canning. Everything is made of concrete including the bird house and the lawn furniture.

We had our final goodbyes to our Mom, and as always the scenic vistas did not disappoint. I think the best sunset can be viewed there.

The beach was nothing to write home about, but the cement cottages are adorable! I wish there was a public path to walk through to see them more closely, but even respecting the private property they were a cute and colourful sight!

Great for a shore tour, or to have a fire with friends/family. Very rocky, wouldnt suggest for a place to swim or anything, but a beautiful view for the sunset, great place for that fresh ocean air. Could even make it a romantic place for a picnic and walk along the shore. This is the ocean so the air is crisp. Just beautiful

Beautiful scenery and beach..although quite rocky so wear sneakers. Amazing stone cabins. Fantastic family and tourist location to see some true east coast art and a wonderful sunset

Stopped in for a family trip the other day. Its a nice out of the way beach. Not a lot of people in the area so its a safe place to be during COVID. The one major downside is that the road was quite rough on my Mother car. She offered to drive the family around so I could take the day off and noted that she felt the road was not so nice to drive on.

Easy drive just down from halls harbour. Beautiful walk on the Rocky shore quiet and secluded.A great place for a picnic, a romantic walk, or somewhere to let the kids enjoy the outdoors.Be careful of the majestic rides they come in fast and rise very high.
