WINS Thrift Store (Women In Need Society)

Lots of different goods but I have to agree with other posters - the prices, especially for used clothing, have become much too high. This was not the case when the store first opened and although I realize it’s a good cause, i get the feeling they are fleecing customers.

Nice tiny thrift store.They have lot of departments (from larger to smaller)1. Cloths (both gender and kids)2. Furniture (chair, sofa, TV etc)3. Utensil4. Footware5. Toys (lot of puzzles)6. Electronics7. Bags and backpacks8. Few sports items9. Atrs (Painting, handcart etc)Price are now days bit on higher side (one toy I got at $10) but quality is good and you may find new stuff as well.

My today's expirence is not good with wins downtown ,calgary . The staff ( Jenna )is very rude with customers . Because of the wrong billing they wasted my 1.5 to 2 hrs there . And charged me a big amount. They scaned 3-4 times all my items , afterthat give me a new amount come up.I will never suggest anyone to go there.

I used to loved this store , I have been going since the beginning but prices are going up, up ,up and more so in the last couple monthes. I now go to the other wins stores,. Better prices

I love this thrift shop! The prices are really good and they have a good selection of clothing, home things & furniture.They also have a 50% off every first Wednesdays of the month!I've found some good finds there!I am leaving a 4 stars as the place is a bit small and the selection of shoes could def be bigger!

I used to like this store, but can we just take a moment and look at their prices??? Isn't this a non profit organization??? Since when the toys started to cost $8 to $10? Dolls start from $25 and more! Same thing for mugs, don't even let me start on the clothes! I asked the managements and employees showing them a used item with a ridiculous price, they said now they need to google scan the item and price according to google??? what???? You receive the item for free, you have tax deduction and considered non profit, if you do that it means you do have a profit and use people's donations and support for your benefits! I stopped supporting goodwill and value village long time ago, I guess same is going to happen with Wins. I think we all should start taking pictures of that ridiculous prices and post on social media raising awareness

Bad experience bad customer service first of all my card didn’t work they waited until I left store with my stroller to call back in and they could do it right before I leaveSecond they sold me garbage for 30 dollars I didn’t notice it until I reached home I can’t trust them anymoreWas my favourite store but not today

I like this shop, you can always find something interesting. The staff is pleasant and friendly.The variety is not so big as at another thrift stores. Some items are overpriced.If you are searching for the variety - better to choose another place, but here it is great for the small things, book, kitchen items, toys.

My fav small, neat thrift store ! Friendly and helpful staff. But lately prices are getting higher and higher and I am not happy with that!

Easy to donate, the sign is clear and you can park your car in front of the building. A staff member came immediately to help.
