Chartwell Kamloops Retirement Residence

The staff, and residents are amazing at Chartwell. We do much work with them, and are always greated with kindness and a smile ! We find the overall atmosphere to be warm and caring. We highly recommend Chartwell !Jason and KimEzzzy Moving and Cleaning !

I interact with Chartwell Kamloops Retirement Residence as a pharmacist providing flu and COVID-19 immunizations. The staff are incredibly caring and professional. The residents are treated with kindness and dignity and the feedback I received from residents is that they enjoy living there. The planned activities look fun. We were served lunch and it was excellent!

During Merritt flood 2021 my dad evacuated to this home and he really liked it. I noted that the rooms were spacious, had lovely natural light, were clean and quiet. The building amenities are nice, dad really liked the food and the live music was such a treat. The people working at this residence seem to enjoy what they do, are engaged and are professional. Thank you so much for providing safe and comfortable refuge for my dad, so appreciated.

My dad has been at this Chartwell location for several years now. It feels like a family atmosphere! All the staff know who he is, and who the family is when we visit! They are so caring, and soooo patient with the residents. I would recommend this retirement home to anyone! And the meals are just terrific! Thank you Chartwell!

Chartwell is a happy place to live in, all the staff are pleasant and professional at the same time. They go the extra mile to cater to our needs, Linda the activities lady is a bundle of energy, nothing is too much trouble, we have had very pleasant experiences on her bus trips. The same professionalism can be attributed to the volunteers who are also hard working and very good at making sure we are looked after. Toni is an excellent manager who makes Chartwell feel like home, not an institution. The Dining room is run like a high class restaurant and Robert has developed a very good menu and if you don,t care for the fare of the day you can always order something else. Al is without a doubt the best maintenance manager we have encountered, most of the time problems are solved the same day, he is always pleasant.

I am very fortunate to have been given the opportunity to volunteer at Chartwell Kamloops. Seeing so many happy faces and hearing comments regarding the way staff and volunteers treat people make me really realize that this is more than just a place to live. It is truly a wonderful place for the residents of Chartwell to call home. Something I love about Chartwell is the way the residents are treated with respect and dignity. My favourite part about volunteering here is witnessing the happiness that the residents experience to continue a full filling and exciting life. The various activities and outings that are offered here make for a fun environment and give them something to look forward to on a daily basis. I would especially like to thank the staff and management for valuing our roles as volunteers and including us as part of their team.Thanks Chartwell and keep up the wonderful work.

I really like the staff, services and the way in the entire establishment relates to its residents. My wife and I have lived here at the Residence for almost a year.. The cuisine is exquisite, a great deal of care goes into the preparation of meals on a daily basis. Front office staff are marvelous and provide assistance when needed.

Great caring staff, great safe facilities, great operation. Like all families, we were anxious to move our Mom into a supported living environment, but Chartwell has made it so much easier. They give exceptional care and still honour the residents' independence. We are very happy with our choice of Chartwell Renaissance.

Beginning of June, I will have lived here for 11 months. I'm happy with my decision to live at Chartwell. Everything is great. I've met friends, and enjoy participating in activities like crib and bingo. Linda does a great job at organizing monthly crib tournaments. The staff and management always welcome us with a smile.

Our mom has been at your facility for the past few years and has enjoyed living there. Linda, the entertainment coordinators is very good with getting the kind of activities that are greatly appreciated and enjoyed. The care of our mom has been most appreciated as they knew exactly what they were doing. Very professional. Thank you to Tony for her professionalism and advice during a difficult time.
