My Place Restaurant
It is a cozy atmosphere, the food was hot and delicious. We had the schnitzel dishes and they were both very tasty.

Sad 5 stars is all I can give. Bohemian schnitzel is to die for, the house dressing is incredible. The madras soup is a masterpiece. Add to that amazing service, and it is hands down the he best restaurant in the area (I don’t mean just in town).

I was craving for dessert yesterday and wanted something better than a Tim's doughnut. The Cheesecake recommended by their knowledgeable staff (she was in charge of taking orders) was a winner! It hit the spot :) PS: The photo attached was taken after most of the cheesecake was devoured.

This restaurant is a gem. The food and attention is incredibly good, and be prepared to eat a lot because here, excellent quality goes together with really generous, if not huge portions. When you come you should also try the madras soup, a creamy & sweety curry-flavoured delight. And you must not go without trying home made desert (we tried apple strudel and cherry cheesecake, delicately served and really yummy). A not-to-miss place.

Wow this place is a hidden gem for food and customer service.I have completed 3 of the 6 week training course in Smithfalls and was looking for a good place to eat. There comes a point when eating fast food becomes boring and bland. I wasn't disappointed when I found this gem to eat at.I heard that there was a great place to eat European cruisine nearby. Well the food is so good and the portions are filling that this is my second time back for me, because the ambience of a very relaxing environment made the meal more enjoyable. The staff was great and strickly adhered and followed the safety protocol for dining.I will be back and would highly recommend them.

I am a Veteran and I like to eat out Quaint and friendly and kind staff. I really tasted every bite and enjoyed every bite. This Chef cares about his customers. Highly recommended, the mushroom soup was perfect. The carrots tasted like they were freshly picked from a garden. Hidden saurkrout under the meat, mmmm. Thank u for that. The menu is full of delicious options leaning towards European dishes but the portions are large. We ordered one meatloaf and had it split which was more than enough for two.

This restaurant is a true gem. Absolutely unpretentious, brilliantly done Czech comfort food at the price of some salads that I've had in restaurants I've enjoyed infinitely less than this one. The service is friendly, efficient and professional.This is comfort food in something along the lines of a treasured diner environment. I always get what I refer to as the Half Acre of Schnitzel". You hear the hammer (I refer to it as being "The Hammer of Happiness) pounding the cutlet in the open kitchen. It arrives too hot to dig into without waiting at least a couple of moments. The great family team that delivers it is a joy to be around.I live thousands of kilometers away but make a point of traveling there on a regular basis because of the food and the experience.I've traveled extensively

The restaurant filled so fast after 530pm. Felt like family atmosphere. The gentleman next table to us liked what he saw on our table that he asked what we had so he could also get it. Friendly place.. the service was prompt, steady and friendly.
