We contacted Jamie at JJG Construction Design Inc for the supply and installation of spray foam insulation on one of our projects. Jamie was very approachable and informed us that he could provide full service including drywall installation, plaster & taping, and painting/primer of all walls. He provided a price and payment schedule. Initial the work was great, and his crews showed up, during the spray foam. The drywall work was next, and there were a couple of scheduling delays from his side. The installers made a couple of mistakes and charged us extra to fix them. Towards the end, they were in a rush and made more mistakes and just left them. I brought these to Jamie's attention, and he said the tapers will take care of that. That's when the problems happened. Nobody showed up for 3 weeks. We kept getting told that his taper was away, and he had another guy, who never showed up. Then he said he would finish it personally, which he did not. Finally, we were told we would be better off hiring our own taper. At this time, we had remitted more than %75 of the payments, with a small amount outstanding. We had to hire our own crew to finish the taping and priming, which ended up costing us MUCH more than what was left on our contract. Plus we found way more deficiencies than we first noted. Jamie has since been ignoring all our calls and messages, leaving us with no other choice.
