Golden Hour Photography

My fiance and I have booked Clarissa for our wedding next year and just had our engagement photo session a few weeks ago. We are both pretty shy and awkward in front of the camera but Clarissa made us feel so comfortable that we ended up having a blast! She is exactly what we hoped to find in a photographer - kind, attentive, talented and best of all, she has a wonderful candid, natural shooting style! She was able to capture our love in a series of photos that reflected our true selves while elevating it to provide us with a really beautiful gallery. While we had hoped for at least one photo to use for our Save the Dates, we ended up not being able to choose since there were so many that we absolutely loved. She is attentive, very responsive to emails and questions, and she goes above and beyond for her couples. Her passion really shows through and we cannot wait to see her work her magic at our wedding next year. I would highly recommend her and her team to anyone. Sam shot our engagement shoot & we had such an amazing experience!. My partner and I were super nervous as we never had professional photos done before but she made us feel very comfortable and we had lots of fun. The pictures turned out absolutely beautiful and we can't wait for the big day!

We had our Engagement photos with Clarissa! This was our first photoshoot as a couple so were both excited and nervious. Clarissa was extremely nice and welcoming to me and my fiance. She gave us plenty of clear directions on how to pose which made it very easy on us. The pictures turned out AMAZING and im so glad we chose her to be our wedding photographer as well! Her level of organization, creativity and enthusiasm put Clarissa and her team so far and above any other photographers that we'll never choose anyone else! <3

Clarissa shot our engagement photos yesterday evening and we had such an awesome experience! Clarissa is professional, organized, easy-going, and fun to work with. She has a creative eye and ensures she captures those special moments for you to look back on with fond memories. She has such a natural way of putting you at ease throughout the shoot.We shot at our wedding venue which gave us the opportunity to get a feel for the property and experience a taste of what it will be like on our wedding day. Clarissa did our engagement shoot recently and we had the best time with her!! She is the perfect mix of bubbly, engaging, fun and professional. She guided us through the photo shoot and helped us feel totally at ease even though my fiance and I are a bit camera shy. Her prompts were so helpful and she was very willing to try out our photo ideas too. We're so happy with our sneak peek photos as well which were delivered in less than a day of shooting with her!! Your work is impressive Clarissa, we are so lucky to shoot with you!Fast forward one month...Clarissa shot our wedding and delivered our sneak peek photos. We were thrilled to see how many incredible moments she captured. From the sparkler first dance we did, to making sure I got a picture with my grandfather. She was so thoughtful in every aspect of the day, took the time to introduce herself to the wedding party and VIP guests and made literally everyone feel at ease. I remember guests coming back to me saying: our photographer knew exactly when to interact and engage with guests, and when to hold back; she wasn't pushy, she made photos fun, she was friendly, she remembered little details that I thought had been forgotten...one of the best vendors of the wedding hands down, and a gem to work with. Our wedding did not go perfectly but by the flawless pictures Clarissa delivered, we will have some beautiful memories to cherish. We are so very thankful for you Clarissa, you're a natural at what you do!!

Samantha was so amazing for our special day. We had a small personal wedding and she made everyone feel so comfortable. Her presence was calming and reassuring. Sam is fantastic! She was immediately great upon meeting with her and speaking with her inspired confidence in us that she was the one for the job. The time leading up to the big day she is keeping in contact and updating you on what is coming up and needs to be done. When we were scouting photo locations with her, seeing her get excited and watching her brainstorm all the shots she could imagine taking of us was so reassuring and in turn sparked excitement in us. On the wedding day she was a superstar. Her work speaks for itself. She is running around (and in mosquito infested tall grass with us! Anything for the shot!) capturing spectacular scenes. Her eye for framing and composition is wonderful. We are so pleased with how the photos turned out and couldn't be happier.Sam is super easy going and flexible. If something comes up or needs to be changed she is approachable and ready to work with you. The last thing you want on your day is the displeasure of having hired someone who is just not there for you. Sam will deliver!

My fiancee and I had the chance to meet Clarissa for our engagement photoshoot, roughly about 6 months before our wedding date. Clarissa was friendly to talk to, she was able to give us poses and make the shoot easy going, and not awkward! We received the products fairly quick and we are really happy with the photoshoots, the edited photos and the final products. Would definitely recommend Clarissa and Golden Hour to future brides and grooms.

We just had our engagement photos with Clarissa and the experience was amazing! My fiancé and I can be awkward in front of the camera, but her direction and fun personality allowed us to be so relaxed and comfortable.Also, her editing style and candid way of shooting is so unique. Clarissa was AMAZING. I cannot express how wonderful of a job she did on our wedding day. She and her assistant Alex were so flexible throughout the longggg day (7:30am-11:30pm!). Clarissa helped us capture our beautiful day and she made taking photos so easy! She captured all the best sides of us! She was very professional, as well as friendly, so we were able to feel so comfortable around her. I personally have a hard time of letting go of control but Clarissa made me feel that I could trust her 100% with our special day!Thank you again!!!
