The staff there are professional and friendly. Everything is clean and busy. Can dock you boat on the blues when they end their shift. Boaters are friendly and provide a helpful hand if need be.

We were at Lock 31 this past weekend. I am certainly not an expert at being behind the wheel of a boat and frankly I get nervous each time i go through a lock. We got excellent help from the staff at lock 31. We were pulling in and I told Erin I needed a bit of extra help and he gave me great suggestions and made it a lot easier. Many Thanks Erin! (or Aaron lol). Great experience. Terrific staff.

We went to visit the lock system, while we were staying at the Burley Falls inn. The grounds were very well kept. The staff there were very nice. And we were able to see a fair bit of boats go through the system.

Awesome lock masters who are very helpful. This is a busy lock so if you want to spend the night, get there before 4pm. Lots of green space and firepits. There is a restaurant across on the blue line side that is pretty decent. Cody Inn has Chinese food and there is a pizza place in the area too.

Came through Buckhorn on a houseboat over Canada Day weekend. The staff at the lock were very helpful. It was very windy and maneuvering was a bit challenging. The Lock Master guided us into the lock and helped us moor on the lower side. It was a very tight fit and more difficult to steer due to the wind. We managed to get into the lower spot without incident and spent a nice evening enjoying the scenery.

Excellent with shore power but no water or showers. Beautiful park setting with several close by restaurants. Very busy lock so get there early.

We visited this Lock on our trip down the Trent, we went through the lock and stayed one night. The staff here are very friendly and helpful, especially the Lockmaster who was knowledgable and went out of his way to help us find a spot on the wall for the night. The grounds and facilities were extremely clean and well kept, had a very enjoyable stay!
