George's Fish & Chips in one of the best fish places I've had. The batter on the fish is reminiscent of the batter on a McDonald's chicken nugget. The fries are crisp and fresh. And I can't say no to the brown gravy. We stopped on one rainy Saturday for some quick fries during a road trip, went back the next day for a full fish dinner. The older Greek couple are adorable and worth the trip alone. While the food truck isn't going to be winning any James Beard awards, it will always be a satisfying experience.

While I must admit that the owner was friendly and service and atmosphere were good, I cannot overlook the terrible experience I had with the food.I ordered the fish and chips and they were excessively oily. Not only was the oil overwhelming, but the quality of either the oil, fish, or both seemed to be subpar. The fish tasted off, lacking freshness. I had an upset stomach just 30 minutes after eating.

We went there while backing home from the Sandbanks, the food quality was very good and this place is owned by lovely old couple. I enjoyed talking with them. Just you need to pay cash, which is not a problem as there is an ATM machine right beside it.Try it.

Perfectly fried and huge pieces of fish, crispy chips and delicious onion rings! Even the coleslaw was cold and seasoned perfectly. Gotta visit!

We stopped for the fish and chips. George was very friendly and the food was great We ordered 3 fish and 1 chips to split between my wife and I. We couldn't eat it all as it was a very generous amount of food. The fish has a nice crispy batter and tasted great. We will definitely be back.
