Absolute must? The mashed potatoes40 Westt is more of an experience rather than a dinner at the restaurant.The location might not be convenient for everyone, but it’s definitely worth the drive. The restaurant itself is huge, with beautiful high ceilings and brick archways that will definitely transport you into the great atmosphere of the restaurant.Our waitress was lovely and very helpful. We ordered different plates: the Table d’hôte which comes with an Onion Soup, Filet Mignon Brûlé (wrapped in prosciutto and brie), as well as a Panna Cotta and tea to finish it off. We also tried the salmon tartare as an entrée, the 8 oz Filet Mignon and the Cowboy steak (20 oz piece), the truffle Mac’n’Cheese and the chocolate soufflé which comes with ice cream. The steaks are served with a choice of side, but we HIGHLY recommend the mashed potatoes, they are divine!The steak was cooked to perfection, the food was flavourful, especially the Mac’n’Cheese and the Onion Soup and of course, the steaks! What a delight!For drinks, we ordered a Lychee Martini as well as the Pink G&T. Both were delicious and not overly priced!9.8/10Price: Around 80$/person

I ordered salmon fish in this restaurant. The price of fish is $ 60, I expected that there would be a beautiful presentation. They brought fish that was fried in a pan, very fatty. They also put 3 asparagus that burned. And for this garbage I gave $ 60. Well, I can give this at home in a frying pan. I didn’t even experience the pleasure of eating fish, but I've never tasted such a terrible taste anywhere.Dear manager, or you need to change chefs or learn how to cook delicious salmon. what about the steak, I want to say that it did not exceed all expectations, but they served a separate sauce with it. The waiter was very polite and we didn't want to ruin the evening for him. But my rating for the service is 5, the kitchen is 2.Yes i can say i was in 40 west. If they say you will come again, I will answer no. this is not the place where you can come and eat deliciously.

I’ve eaten here a few times already so now I can say that service is on point and consistent. Roxanna who served us last weekend was top notch. Super friendly and on point! If I owned a restaurant I’d snatch her right up. The rest of the staff as well. We never had to ask for anything and the tables was consistently cleaned and water was consistently filled. It’s pricey but it comes with the service!I had the lamb chops and they were just delicious. The plate was pretty big. Got about 4 - 5 rather large chops with a side of mash and asparagus. I’m actually craving it as I write this review.Lastly the outside terrace is awesome. Great place to go out and have a drink after dinner with their cozy patio furniture surrounded by greenery. Feels like you’re on vacation. Definitely going back.

Very relaxed environment, we are party of two, they were able to accomodate the portion from the usual large order platter for us, the grilled seafoor combo was fresh and well prepared, well seasoned. The souffle is to die for.Staff members are friendly and welcoming from the moment we walked in. We will definitely return,A well kept gem in West Island. Highly recommand.

You can't go wrong at 40 Westt. Everything was perfect, the food was amazing, the oysters, the tuna tataki, the Cesar salad, the veal chop, the tomahawk and grilled octopus were #1. Service is always guaranteed. If you happen to travel a lot you'll notice that the prices are very reasonable for the quality that 40 W provides.

A friend brought us for dinner here. I can't imagine what the bill was as the wine was flowing and we ate seafood.......came back for a bday party. Lamb chops were awesome. I don't eat dessert but I did here.

Wow what an experience, quality at its highest and best , I haven’t seen anything like this in Montreal yet ! I’ve been around and I’ve dined around , but just wow , Anthony the manager served our table, THE MANAGER served us, wow, Lucas was great. Explained all the steaks while service. Anthony brought the basket of meat and took his time to explain the different kind of meat available . We ended up ordering samples for next time to know what to order, cowboy cur , wow, the sea food plate, amazingly delicious.Stephanie is the bomb, always smiling, accommodating, very understanding and always around, she rectifies customer service and hospitality, there are no words to describe how high quality this place is and how they take care of you, this is my favorite place now.If you want amazing treatment , an extraordinary experience, quality food, VIP TREATMENT, then 40 Westt is your place . This is truly a dining experience. My only complaint is that they bring the food so fast. Taste, selection, servers, decor were all amazing. Highly recommend this place. This is a great place for business dinners, groups and parties. There were a lot of birthdays when I was there and it was a Wednesday.

I had my wedding at 40 Westt this May and everything from the staff to the food was perfect!! We are so happy we chose this restaurant to celebrate our marriage with our family and friends. All of our guests had a wonderful time and delicious food. 190 steaks cooked to each guest’s preference … incredible!! I would recommend 40 Westt for any event. We love you!! Thank you for the best wedding ever!!!!!
