This is a hidden gem in the middle of Nova Scotia! We stumbled across it while on a day trip from Halifax and now make trips to the area just to get to this bakery. The cookies are like the best cookies your grandmother used to make and the gingerbread loaf is like something out of Mrs Clause's kitchen - delicious! I highly recommend a visit!

Living in Brooklyn the best we can have is the bread gallery around the corner for bread, sweets and snacks. The quality? I cannot think of any better.Have a look in the gallery as well. Changing exhibition and such a tranquil place to view art work

We love this place. Bread is very tasty and...we always get a treat too.Last visit it was delicious cinnamon bun. Today it was ginger cookies and oat cakes. Oat cakes were our snack and ginger cookies scrumptious evening dessert.I looked at the brookies" with interest....brownie sandwich sort of with filling!"

I sampled a couple of the Sweet's and had a coffee. All was delicious! Seemed like a steady amount of customers picking up various baked goods. I will definitely visit again.

Loaded up with fresh baked goods including some of the best focaccia I think i've ever had - and I'm fussy! And the art gallery on the side is always a delight. Plus it's blueberry grunt season - get some!!
