Thornton's Cycle

Stopped by today on the way to work with flat tires on an old bike. The kind man there blew my tires up for free, if it wasn't for him I would have been late to work. I WILL be coming back here when I buy my own bike.

Grumpy guy who said my bike brand is not good. They just want to sell you new bikes. Won't come back.

I was looking to purchase a bike and found one I liked in the shop and was prepared to buy it. I asked if I could just give it a little test run in the parking lot and was told that I couldn’t because the bike would get dirty and they would then have to clean it. This surprised me as it was dry outside, it is like buying a car and not being able to get a feel for it. A week later my husband went to look in the shop at helmets while I waited in the car and I then saw someone test riding a bike….hmmm….not sure what to make of that. I would love an explanation of why I couldn’t and someone else could.

I bought my bicycle from Thornton's Cycle approximately months ago. I was satisfied with the service I received to date. I just brought my son's Bible there for new tires some updates of parts and a tune-up.

People were nice but spent good money on a rim and had them install the tire and tube. Went away, come home to a flat tire on my bike. They don’t have any tubes in stock and offered to install if I can find a new tube so I’m going to be out another $20 some odd dollars for something I didn’t even get to enjoy. They won’t have any stock till approximately December so I won’t have my bike for a whole summer and can’t fine a tube anywhere and other bike shops won’t sell tube because I didn’t by my bike from them. Disappointed

We were in town for Canada Games to watch our son compete in triathlon and unfortunately he crashed in his first race and cracked a shifter. We took the bike in to Thornton’s and the service was above and beyond what we expected. They ordered in the part, dealt with many phone calls from frazzled parents and fixed it as fast as physically possible. Our son has his bike back and is ready to race tomorrow! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I gave them a call about getting my suspension fork rebuilt. The person I talked to suggested a company in Quebec that specializes in rebuilding forks. I was really impressed! Some shops try and be a middle man" and charge their customers for shipping they're parts to other companies. I appreciated that they just pointed me towards the right direction even though it didn't monetarily effect them. I appreciate the great customer service!"

In words, I describe it as amazing work! I cycle on a trek road bike to work regularly and there was a problem with my tire and a broken spoke. I took it here and thanks to the mechanic he got it fixed as soon as possible for me, and got it finished in less than two days. Thanks so much for your service! I am coming here again when I need it, totally recommend it to other cyclists :)
