Victoria X-Ray, Ultrasound & Mammography - True North Imaging

I came in for a sonohysterogram and I felt they really rushed me through. The doctor performed this in less than 5 minutes. It was awfully painful and after when it was over I could barely move off the table the technician just said “get up” to me and when I didn’t move immediately she said again “get up”. They didn’t care that I told them I was in a lot of pain. I left crying. I gave them a 2 star because the place was packed with people and the reception was very quick and efficient getting people in on time for their appointments. I was prepared to wait a while but getting in was quick.

I was very impressed with the appointment. Given that I had a full bladder, I was concerned about holding it if there was a delay. No need! I was called in 2 minutes before my actual appointment.The technician who did the ultrasound was professional and a gentleman.Peter Smola

I had an appointment for 8.40 but waited until 9.15 to be called in. I understand that, given that they care to walk-ins as well. They have a sign explaining this, and they ask you to be patient and kind"

Long wait for X-ray (2.75 hours). Would be nice if you could post wait time online as there is no way to make an appointment. Technicians were professional and results received within less than a day so that was good.

Staff was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. However, the wait for X-rays was way too long, almost 2hrs and I arrived at 7:08am (It opens at 7:00am) This not the fault of the staff rather, mostly due to closures of other x-ray locations in KW resulting in high volume of clients. There were already 20 people ahead of me upon arrival. Be prepared to wait.

This was my second time having a pelvic ultrasound this month after a botched one at a different center (not a True North). I was a nervous wreck because the first pelvic ultrasound left me in so much pain that I could hardly walk. My experience at True North was so different! It was the best of a miserable situation.Olivia was unbelievably knowledgeable, warm, kind, empathetic, gentle and patient. I have another type of party in my uterus happening next week at the same site. I asked Olivia if she could be the person assisting the gynecologist during that exam. She seemed to genuinely care.I wish everyone could have an experience like I did wherever and whenever they need an ultrasound. I’m really so grateful.

This clinic is very busy and there’s limited parking, so I’d recommend arriving 20-30 mins before your appointment to ensure you can park and sign in. These things are outside of the clinic’s control though. I’m giving them 5 stars because I had to go in twice this week and my second appointment was for a procedure that I’d never done before. I read about it online and people said that it was painful, so I was honestly scared. I appreciated the technician walking me through the process and being considerate of my comfort. It was painful, but because the technicians worked efficiently, it was brief and quickly over. Overall, the experience was better than I had expected and I left feeling confident that they captured the information my doctor needs to proceed with my health care plan. Thanks!

My name is Shirley Bruce & my ultrasound on my neck was done Mar.28, 2023 at 1:30 pm. True North asked me to review my experience. I can honestly say it was definitely not a positive experience. I waited almost a month for this appointment & I felt very disappointed with the entire experience. The male ultrasound technician was less than welcoming with me. I wondered if it was because of my age (being 71 years old) & maybe he felt uncomfortable with me. He appeared to be extremely discontent, sober, quiet & confrontational when I asked questions. I myself did not feel at ease with his attitude towards me. The test itself took very little time & I worried that the results might not be thorough enough. I have to say that this young man might need more training with regards to patient care. He was definitely lacking in social skills, that would help to make the patient feel more secure & comfortable in this setting. Unfortunately, this ultrasound was a very bad experience for me. I never usually complain about the treatment I have received, but I felt that this time it was important to convey my feelings, so that future ultrasound patients, will receive the best of your care in the future. True North Imaging always provides an excellent service to all their patients in a difficult time in their lives. They are patient, kind, and fast. I am always impressed how well organized and professional they are while being so nice and gentle. I am extremely grateful for the urgent appointment. As a healthcare professional myself, I can see that they truly care for their patients and that they love their job. Nobody enjoys being there and yet the staff makes it as pleasant as possible for everyone. This is how I envision superb healthcare.

Good place. Super busy location but excellent service. They were a bit late for my appointment but nothing too bad. Great friendly staff. Would go again. One small issue...parking. Busy lot and hard to get a spot.
