The work Nicole does with not only your dog but with you as the owner as well is unbelievable! We have had only 4 private one on one sessions and my German Shepherd is a completely different dog and I am learning how to be the best dog mama for him to thrive as well! I highly recommend training and/or boarding with The Structured Canine!

Nicole is such a hard worker and anyone(or dog) would be lucky to work with her!I had the oppurtunity to complete the 5-day Shadow Program in August 2020. I got to see what it's like to run a home-based dog training business and be very hands on with a variety of dogs, while receiving support and feedback from Nicole. I learned SO much in just 5 days from observing and participating in daily structured walks and boarding, private lessons, board and train drop-offs, off-leash hikes, community outings and social media content.Nicole was very organized, kind and welcomed me into her home (bonus: got to spend time with her littles!). She was a pleasure to learn from and work with and continues to support me in my endeavours.Nicole is a calm, clear and consistent trainer who gets results! Dogs who would otherwise be rehomed or euthanized have a second chance at life because of her work. If owners are ready and willing to change, she will teach them how to help their dog (and share some hard - but necessary - truths along the way).Completing this program has given me the confidence to pursue my goal of starting a dog training business and I am forever grateful to have had this opportunity with The Structured Canine!10/10 - Awesome experience!

Nicole literally changed our life with our dog. Managing my 80lb, stubborn bulldog was a nightmare and Nicole's board and train transformed him into a gentleman.The program itself is designed to MAKE PROGRESS. Not only with your dog, but with you as an owner and the mindset you have with your dog. Our behaviour is what needed the most training and after struggling for over a year with other training and seeing the results after a couple months with Nicole, it was clear that was absolutely true.Zero ego, very client based, and extremely transparent and honest. I just want to say The Structured Canine made a huge difference in our lives as dog owners . The two weeks of board and train transformed our very smart stubborn Airedale to where he became a delight to be around. Nicole taught us how to handle our dog in a way that brought not only freedom for him but joy and pride for us. We now enjoy incorporating him to most if not all of our family activities.He will be participating in our daughter’s wedding this summer! A thought I would never have considered prior to his training.I just wish that we found Nicole sooner and extended his training longer. If you are looking for the best balance trainer around, Nicole at The Structured Canine is your girl! Her website is so well laid out and incredibly informative with her programs clearly listed. There are links and descriptions of the training tools she uses (and why she uses them). She is dedicated to helping owners with establishing a healthy relationship with their dog and posts daily tips and taining videos on Instagram. Skype sessions with Nicole have been perfect for my family's needs. We have two adopted dogs, an Italian Mastiff and a German shepherd and two young kids so having polite well mannered dogs is very important to us. With Nicole's help, we have two lovely dogs that our 5 year old is able to walk. Nicole has been inspirational to me! I shadowed Nicole at The Structured Canine for one week and she transformed the way I looked at my relationship with my own 2 dogs, both of which I struggled with. She inspired me to embody the work she does and as a result my relationship with my dogs has transformed for the better. I hear endlessly of how well behaved my dogs are now. I read a ton of books, watched all the videos imaginable, and I still couldn't get my dog Valkyrie to listen to me. Walks were a nightmare, and although she was responsive to me at home, she challenged me wherever she could. I needed my 80 pound long-haired German Shepard to be respectful and obedient and knew that I needed some professional support.I was very hesitant to opt-into a 4 week board and train but saw outstanding results immediately. Nicole completely changed my dynamic with Valkyrie. I learned so much about my girl's state of mind, what makes her anxious, and how much excitement is acceptable vs. detrimental. I learned more about my dog's language, and that saying no is a good thing because it gives her positive direction. Investing in Valkyrie's training didn't just get me a more obedient dog, it salvaged my relationship with her so that we could both be more confident with each other.It's been months since Valkyrie completed her program and we still work together harmoniously. People always compliment me on how obedient she is, and they are always in awe of how well she listens to me. We work on our relationship every day, but she keeps making good decisions and everyone around her smile!If you are looking for a trainer who is invested in your dog's long-term care, then Nicole is the right person for you. She will call you out when you are in the wrong, and she will give you the tools you need to be successful on your own. The Structured Canine will absolutely change your dog’s life, and yours, for the better. We have a large dog that had multiple issues but we didn’t have the knowledge or tools to navigate his problems. We were able to learn a lot initially just by following her progress with other dogs on her social media. (It’s also fun to watch, definitely check it out)Once we signed on to work with Nicole we finally felt like there was a light at the end of what had been a very frustrating tunnel. Our dog did a 4-week board and train at The Structured Canine, and we participated with his training weekly. Through the whole process Nicole was absolutely professional, supportive, and transparent. She taught us to be accountable for our dog’s behaviour and guided us so that we could successfully work together as a team for our dog’s best interest. Working with Nicole from The Structured Canine has been the best experience for myself and my dog, If I could give her more than a 5 star rating I would !.I have a Year old Rottweiler named Hugo who has major fear/ anxiety issues and along with some other behaviour issues. 8 months ago we enrolled Hugo in a 4 week board and train with Nicole. The entire experience was nothing other than education, beneficial, and an absolute pleasure. Having an 80 pound bossy/reactive Rottweiler was a nightmare, Nicole taught us with the proper tools and techniques how to be the best dog owner we can be. Today Hugo is an absolute dream dog, but of course that is because we took what Nicole taught us and worked with Hugo everyday since he’s been home. Results take time and a lot of patience which Nicole taught us.Nicole is nothing but professional, easy to work with and Honest. Getting into contact with her was super easy. She is very honest which is a trait that caught our attention with wanting to work with her.8 months after our board and train with Nicole, we are still in contact weekly, her response time is amazing and is happy to help with any question you have.I highly recommend working with Nicole, she is a life saver! Our dog spent four weeks with Nicole at the Structured Canine and it was truly one of the best things we could have done. Our dog went primarily for dog reactivity but the change in her whole demeanor is amazing, she's happier, calmer and more confident! Our world with her is so much bigger than it was before. Before training we would walk around the same block at the same times everyday, now we have the confidence to walk her wherever we want and we no longer worry about walking near another dog. We've also been able to discover off leash trails with her where she can enjoy the freedom she's earned and really be a dog! Nicole taught us how to provide the best life for our dog, and she brought out the very best in her. We can't recommend Nicole enough to any dog owner!!
