We wanted to try something different and found this place. We are super duper glad to have done so. The food was delicious! Yes it is a bit on the pricey side but, the food is worth it especially on a special day like Mother’s Day. The staff was amazing they were very polite, on the ball and very energetic. Would for sure come back. We had no complaints about anything.

Love the vibe in here.If anything go for the beef carpaccio!!! Every bite was packed with flavor, tender beef that melts in your mouth and a delicious earthy flavor from the truffle. 5/5Other pasta dishes were alright, 3.5/5 for both.The wild boar pasta had similar flavors to the carpaccio and the other shrimp & scallop pasta wasn’t anything special in my opinion. Shrimp was nice and bouncy cooked perfectly.3 dishes close to $80 before tip.Service was professional and nice.

The crabcake was good, but the pasta tasted a little too bland for me. Service was very welcoming and top notch. Also felt the duration we waited for the food to show up was a bit long.

A great experience. Friendly, helpful waiter. We had lamb (with Brussel sprouts and gnochi) and the duck and fig pizza. Both were delicious.They have those individual but super cramped washrooms.

The most amazing Italian restaurant I’ve ever been to!As an Italian myself I struggle to find cooking as good as my Nonna’s. Piva far exceeded my expectations with delicious food and excellent service.We had the carpaccio, duck, wild boar, crème brûlée, and flourless chocolate cake. All were amazing dishes!The drinks were also great, a lovely selection of wine and delicious mixed drinks as well.Our waiter (I believe his name was Darryl) was phenomenal. He was incredibly funny and entertaining and made the dinner just that much better.Will definitely be returning to Piva and highly recommend to anyone looking for authentic Italian food.

Lovely vibe, very clean and service was excellent. Ordered the Wild Boar Pasta dish with gluten free pasta and it was really under seasoned. I should have sent it back but didn't. It's been a while since I've experienced less than yummy food at a nice restaurant so I was surprised. The duck was delicious and the flourless chocolate cake with gelato was so good. We enjoyed the liquor free drinks too. We will give them another chance!

Visited for a couple dinners and a brunch. The atmosphere is nice - preferred the brunch over dinner time as it was less noisy. Service was attentive. Food was always good. Enjoyed the cocktails and fresh orange juice, latte was just OK. Tiramisu was well done. Overall a nice place for a special occasion.

I just had Piva for lunch, it’s 5:30p, and I’m still stuffed. Had a really good experience, the polenta fries were amazing and the Nonno pasta was so filling, flavourful, and hearty. Our server was attentive and kind, and if I hadn’t filled up so quickly I would have definitely tried a dessert. Thank you for the great meal!

We have been to Piva many times and each one is greater than the other.The food is amazing and the service as well! Their seasonal menu is delicious and it always brings more options to the table.You have different price ranges to choose from and the ambiance is cozy while elegant.I highly recommend this restaurant!

Came here for a birthday dinner a little while ago. The restaurant has a warm and premium aesthetic to it. Portions were reasonable and the food was very well prepped.. My bacon garnish was well done but a bit on the dry side. I'm finding this is often intentional. Otherwise that dish was delightful and didn't need it at all. The Duck and Fig pizza was also delicious.
