Cap-it Campbell River

Bought a nearly 4000$ canopy waited over a month to get it the install was only 4 C clamps when it should be 6. Very disappointed. Super cheap install buy elsewhere if you can.

Purchased a $3500. Cap. Waited approx a month . Left it for install.Took it home.Noted rear lift window had a terrible fit. Took it back the next day. Left it again as the cap was 2 far forward and the rear lift window was coming down on the tailgate too soon. OK came back a hour or so later and was told it was ready to go - [picked jump my keys and checked the fit - far better ( how was it passed in the 1st instance ??) Then looked inside all 4 screw-down clamps did not have the bolts in the lower rail attachment - it was not attached??? Called to the Employee that was walking across behind me to have a look - He immediately got a drill/driver and I then saw a socket on the top of my rear bumper!!!!! I left the lot wondering about the level of attentiveness in the marketing of their produce. The above is a “Statement of Fact”..ken 2 NOV 2022

I recently had a truck canopy installed in Campbell River and forgot to get the keys for the locks. We noticed it the next day, and that evening they delivered the keys to my door in Courtenay. Can't ask for better service.I would highly recommend this shop as they have excellent customer service, and of course, a great product.

Recently had a new Thule roof rack and Hulluvator pro's installed on our vehicle. Great service and kept us informed with our order. Was installed quickly and fully explained how to use the Hullavators. Would certainly recommend.

Ordered a canopy and hard shell roof top tent October 2021, was told 4-6 weeks. After multiple follow ups and being told “maybe next week” every time, finally got installed in January 2022 (13 weeks total wait time).After the first trip the bolts on the roof rack came loose, so I went back and was told “you’ll have to retighten them if you’re going to go off road” - where do they think camping happens?Not even two months later the canopy started buckling under the weight of the tent to the point where the canopy’s door locks couldn’t catch the latches - how do you sell a tent and canopy combo if you haven’t even tested the weight? Come on cap it!After going back again, they finally agreed to order me a reinforced canopy (at additional cost!), was told 4 weeks. 4 weeks came and went, finally after 6 weeks I settled for a refund.Usually happy to pay a premium for a premium product and service, paid a premium here and received below average product and service.

Bought a canopy from this location, great service and fast delivery. They said it would be 3 weeks to bring it in, the unit arrived in 2 weeks.

I came in as I purchased a used Toyota Tacoma with a SuperCap that was leaking and the locks were ceased… one of the locks even had a broken key in it. The staff were kind, courteous and fixed everything I needed while I waited. I even got some inspiration for truck tents. Thank you all so much for being so amazing.
