Ryan is fantastic to work with. He responded to all my questions and made a variety of beautifully presented platters for my charity cruise. Everyone onboard loved the food. I will definitely work with Open Water Catering in the future!

I’ve had the pleasure of working with Ryan and team since 2015 now and wouldn’t think about going anywhere else. From a gala for over 400 people to multiple holiday parties for my stores with over 50 people, each time the food is always AMAZING.I never have a clear idea of what I’m looking for so have relied on Ryan’s expertise and questions to help me pinpoint the exact masterpiece. Every time, it ends up better than I thought as my team ensures we request him again.The bonus here for me, and why I continue to support this business, is because of seeing the passion behind the dream and how it has evolved over time. I’m thankful to have met Ryan and look forward to the future times we surely will get to eat some of his amazing food creations! Thanks Open Water Catering!!

We had Ryan and his wife prepare the food for our wedding with 200 guests this weekend and I must say, if we could give them 10 stars we would! Ryan was such a pleasure to communicate with leading up to the big day, he is a true professional. From the first day speaking with you, Ryan, I can't thank you and your crew enough for all the help and services you provided, your servers and bar staff have a beautiful energy. And the food... WOW!! It doesn't get any better; the cedar wrapped salmon had people in awe! It's been 3 days and I'm still receiving compliments for you about how much people enjoyed that meal. When it comes to catering around Southern Vancouver Island, Open Water is THE company to go with!

We were lucky enough to get Open Water to cater a retirement event last minute. Ryan was so easy to plan with, and coordinated with the venue to give us an unforgettable evening! The food was a hit, and they even provided take-away containers for the leftovers which out guests loved. Our server Ian was friendly and professional and coordinated the evening perfectly. Highly recommend!

We were so pleased to have Open Water cater our daughter and son-in-law’s wedding last month. Ryan was wonderful to work with, and his staff was pleasant and accommodating, meeting every request with cheerfulness and quick action. All those things are good, but the best part was the delicious meal! We couldn’t have been happier with the service you provided for this big outdoor wedding. Thank you, Ryan!

Ryan and his team catered our wedding last summer and did an amazing job. Open Water was great to work with and went above and beyond designing a menu for our day. They were able to accommodate our special requests and were flexible with every aspect. On the day of, Open Water's staff, for both serving and bartending, were courteous, fun and extremely professional. The food was terrific and we received excellent reviews from all our guests. Their mobile kitchen allows them to prepare on site, meaning everything is fresh and hot. The dinner was vibrant, flavourful, seasonal and local. The cocktails were similarly outstanding. The entire time, Ryan's staff made sure that we the newly-weds had fresh water to stay hydrated, cocktails when we needed them, and food set aside for whenever we had a moment. When the dinner was done, Ryan's team cleaned up everything and we didn't have to worry about anything. Highly recommended.

Small sized servings done to absolute perfection!Open Water Catering, catered an event that I attended in Victoria. What a pleasant and unexpected surprise.Fresh bite size servings with wide a variety mouth watering options. Staff was always ready to help, extremely clean and proffesional.Chef Ryan only uses what tasted like the best quality ingredients.

I can not thank Ryan and Bridget and their awesome crew enough for catering my wedding!! Open Water Catering had been recommended to me and they did not disappoint. Ryan and Bridget were professional and very easy to talk to during the planning stage. And the wedding, well it was wonderful and huge part of this was because of Open Water Catering. The food was delicious and the service perfect! All of our guests were very impressed! They did such a great job...I think it was the nicest wedding I have ever been to!I highly recommend Open Water Catering! I would book them again in a heartbeat!!
