What a terrible experience. They placed a hold on my credit card and never released the amount. Then they debited my card with another amount. As a result my car rental is three times more than what was quoted. In addition they added all sorts of charges that I had not agreed toI cannot get a real person to help me with lifting the hold and none of the customer service numbers have people answering. It is all recorded messages that are very unhelpful.I will never rent a car from hertz again. They have spoiled a great vacation in Canada

I’ve honestly never had such a terrible experience with a rental company before. The fact that I was continuously lied to and gaslighted the entire time I was there is appalling. It seems like everyone that works there does not seem to want to be there considering NO ONE wants to help you. Not to mention Tom the “management associate” made the whole experience worse with how unprofessional he was. You’re better off choosing somewhere else its honestly absolutely not worth it.

They lied to us multiple times made us change cars when we were told a car was ready and somehow after 5 minutes it was sent back for work. Been here hours and nobody wants yo help. TOM the management associate as it says on his card lied to us multiple times and tried to make it sound like it was our fault to his superior. Even if the cars 15x the price I will never come here again and I'll make a complaint to the dealership that recommended us here. Ridiculous

Very unprofessional and disappointed by their service. First when I picked up their vehicle, the guy called me back an hour later asking if I can drive the car back because he left groceries in there (so clearly was using the vehicle for personal reasons). When I returned the vehicle, I had left my hospital parking pass attached to the rear view mirror (I work at the hospital). I called the very next day after return- they told me they found it and have it and to come before 5pm. But when I drove to pick it up (3:25pm), not only was nobody in the office, I called the guy and he said they threw out the parking pass. It was a laminated pass hanging on the mirror- so any professional rental service should know that it could be valuable and at least hold on to it for 48 hrs. Highly do not recommend this branch. Very very disappointed

Had a really nice experience there with helpful staff. We drove to the wrong location and they coordinated between the two locations, rented us a truck, and let us drive it to the second location so we wouldn't have to pay extra for a cab. They were so patient and we are so grateful!

Hertz rent-a-car takes care of business well. There are other car rental places of course, but Hertz takes care of the customer. Manager at South Burnaby location runs a very good team.Steve G.

Rented Tesla model 3 dual motor over the past weekend for my Seattle trip and it was a fabulous experience for me. I got all of my questions answered by Tom and he made my renting experience very comfortable. Definitely coming back for more Tesla renting ✔️

They gave me a car that was unsafe to drive. Shakes on the highway and has faulty tire pressure signal. Everytime I got off the highway I would have to pump air into the tires. I was not able to drive for 3-4 days after this due to them being closed over the long weekend and I didn’t feel safe to drive . Terrible car service place - please use other rental companies this one is terrible.

They are the worst car rental company ever. They have old and high mileage cars and they don’t give you right car what you supposed to get from ICBC claim. You have to be careful what type of car you are getting and checking very well because they give you the car has tires issues or scratches and blaming to you did it. All they care about making money. They don’t care about their customers especially the person named Tom, his service is just making money if you have issue he doesn’t care to help you at all. When you contact him ( Tom) only thing he says, he is with other customer and can’t talk. After that he never calls back. That’s too sad to No1 Collision is doing business with this location. It is effecting their service as well. Never ever rent a car from this location. Also be careful what they are charging from your credit card it will never return back you.
