Discover Ness Creek

Ness is one of my favourite spots to camp in Saskatchewan. Gorgeous and well shaded camp sites plus lots of cabin stay options. They put on wonderful family friendly festivals all year as well. Always look forward to my next visit.

If your looking for challenging and well kept cross country ski trails this is the place to check out. The trails are absolutely beautiful an quiet no need to worry about waiting in lines or fighting for ski rentals. It's more then worth the drive out.

We stayed in the Cedar Suite for two evenings in late October. This tiny cabin was a really nice space for a short, cozy getaway. The bed is comfortable. The cabin was clean. There’s plenty of dishes and some cooking implements in the cabin. There’s a restaurant in Big River, about twenty minutes away, if you don’t want to cook.We were there in late October, so the space heater was important. We had some troubles with the heater overloading the power strip, but that is an easy fix.The bathroom is a bit of a hoof, but is clean and comfortable. If you have to get up in the night to go to the bathroom, be prepared to use the outhouse which is close to the cabin. I used it quite a bit and found it fine. Also, remember your loonies for the shower! 2 minutes for $1. That’s something we forgot while packing and had to get some in town.There’s a lot of walking and skiing trails, which are nice.The owners were helpful and communicative before and during the trip.

Fantastic camp site, and amazing staff. The whole area is amazing, and if you haven't been there before, you should soon.

Great little winter getaway. Huge fan of Ness Creek Music Festival in the summer, and pleased to say I had just as much fun visiting during the winter. There is a huge network of groomed xc ski trails which we really loved exploring. Also really appreciated the pet friendly cabin. Warm, cozy, staff was super accommodating and friendly. Will definitely go back!

What a beautiful, quiet and relaxing place! My partner and I stayed in the Cedar cabin which smelt amazing!! It was the perfect location and close to fishing, quading and horseback riding. Everything was clean, well kept and just the perfect place to rest and relax. The little creek had nice trails to walk along and it was very peaceful. I can’t recommend this place enough!!

Very unique quaint cozy place. The personal are very helpful and can request help from them anytime of the day. Easy going attitude, very hard working. The trails are easy walking and refreshing. The creek and the bridge are a great place to hangout. The road from the highway to the Ness Creek (24 km.) cabin rental was a pure wash board, but in saying that comment. They just recieved 4in. of rain. I would definitely rent a cabin again.

I stayed at the BEVERLY cabin at the Ness Creek which is one of the new cabin and is very comfortable. It got a full kitchen and a half washroom. Its very well built and you can tell a lot of though process went in to make it comfortable. It got high ceilings, separate bedroom and a big window. It also has a veranda to sit outside and a fireplace and a bbq. I will definitely recommend this and will come back again. The hiking trails on the property are cherry on the top.

I've been coming up to Ness Creek since 2012 and it has become a home away from home. Located just inside Saskatchewan's vast boreal forest, Ness Creek has tons of unique cabin and camping options for any budget. You can have a secluded wilderness experience in the back country, explore the huge network of trails, or meet new friends at one of the many festivals going on here throughout all seasons. There are music festivals, instructional music camps, art retreats, ecological activities for all ages in the Ness Creek Forest Garden, educational workshops, and winter festivals, and cross cross country skiing. It is just a few minutes drive through the forest to multiple lakes, fishing, and beaches. If you haven't been to Ness Creek before, it should be on your adventure list this year!

Overall experience is outstanding for nature lover. Such a peaceful place for weekends. Their farm eggs are top notch. Rebel will greet you and guard you around as being the guard dog.
