Rented an e-bike a couple weeks ago and it was a great experience.Would definitely recommend if you’re planning on biking one way and taking a bus back - they’re one of the only shops in town with bikes with detachable batteries!!

Highly recommend this place for rentals, boots and boot fitting. My husband and I were lucky to visit this place just off the Main Street of Banff ave. I was looking for new ski boots, as I realized with my growing ski abilities I needed a stiffer and smaller boot. We visited all the shops downtown trying on as many boots as I could to find the right pair. Dean who helped me into my now great pair of boots was friendly and knowledgeable. Having been on skis since age 4, I was surprised how much I learned from Dean, not only in finding the right boot for my foot, but correcting my boot position for my bowed leg and teaching me the right techniques in putting on and taking off the boots and ensuring the proper care for them. He spent his time past closing ensuring I had the right boot for me, with custom moulding and fitting them to my skis. My husband came back the next day and got his (previously fitted elsewhere) boots fitted and what a difference. He even rented a pair of skis to demo them, and it was a brand new never ridden pair! We will be coming back here every time we vacation, to service our skis and boots and demo skis. Thanks Dean! The best shop in Banff hands down for your ski needs!

When an airline decides to not load your ski bag, you sure think your ski trip is going to get interesting with the rental equipment or just be over.Luckily, we found Bear Street Outfitters who have an awesome store mascot and the best rental gear in town and great product selection if you're buying. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and truly care about the skiing experience of the customer. This really makes Bear Street Outfitters stand out in a town of ski shops. Go visit this shop!

Best ski shop in Banff. Dean and Dave know more about skis, bindings and equipment than all other ski shops combined. They worked with me to tweak my purchase to maximize skiing to my ability. Would not shop at any other shop full of clueless 20 year olds.

Stumbled onto this little place and was immediately impressed with the care and pride they put into their shop. We rented skis during our trip in March and the equipment was very well kept, always freshly tuned and waxed ready for the slopes. After renting from other companies who didn't care for their equipment in the least and seeing the condition in which this shop kept their equipment we will be sure to use them again. They also had a good selection of new equipment for purchase and were well equipped for custom boot fitting as well!

Wife and I rented pedal assist mountain bikes from Bear Street Outfitters, and went on a guided tour of the town both on and off road. Mike was a great guy with lots of knowledge of the area. Might be the most fun I had from the entire trip.

Professional knowledgeable people providing excellent ski rental choices at a reasonable price. They have several choices for new ski equipment, clothing and accessories. You will not be disappointed.

I was after some new ski boots and the shop I tried first didn’t have my size so they recommended Bear Street Outfitters. I was dealt with by Katie who fitted the boots to perfection and was super helpful from start to finish.I was so impressed with the service I returned the following day for some rental skis and was offered a variety of skis to try. Plus, if I purchased a new pair they would waive the rental charges.Again I was treated well and was able to change them each day until I chose to buy the Atomic Mavericks on the recommendation of Izzy.Josh and Kegan in the Ski Department were just the best and my new skis were expertly made up by Kegan who was a wealth of knowledge.A top team who know their stuff and couldn’t do enough to help me.A five star service all round from a great bunch of guys!!Thanks Bear Street Outfitters I will hopefully return next year when I come back to Banff!!
