One of the most peaceful and relaxing places I've had the pleasure to live around. Great trout fishing ( I've seen up to 8 pounds), tubing in the late spring and early summer, or just exploring. A great place to visit.

There are some lovely spots to swim or float down the river. Cold early in the season, but still lots of fun! Great sandy bottom in the centre, although quite rocky close to shore.
