Decent place to get better than average coffee while visiting Brandon. The atmosphere is definitely not as cozy or as welcoming as it previously was when they had semi-private booths, couches, and book shelves to browse. I believe the latte I ordered was from an automatic machine, not what you'd expect from a local café. Friendly service and good baking!

Forbidden Flavours is an awesome place to get dairy free products - from vegan chocolate bars at Xmas to my daily Almond Milk Steamer. I can text in my order and they have it ready to go when I get to the window. I always get a smile and feel welcome. And the fall/winter vegan soups are to die for.. Thank you Andrea and team for providing Brandon with a welcoming and relaxing place to enjoy a beverage to go and eat in with friends.

Love it! I buy my Espresso beans here every month and sometimes ill adventure with the sampler packs. I love the small attention to details this place adds for any coffee lover. My partner who hates coffee but loves tea or the steamed milk drinks, the staff will often recommend and experiment alternative options for him. Now if you don't like tea or coffee.. The baked goods they bring are delicious and local.Kudos to their social media manager who reminds me how welcoming this establishment is, truly I get excited to see what blends and recipes they come up with every week. I love that you can simply text ahead and have your order ready, and the new option to tip with debit/credit is appreciated. If you are passing Brandon, the drive down 18th street is absolutely worth visiting this staple.

I had a forbidden flavours coffee at the Westoba Arena today for the first time and it was the most phenomenal coffee I’ve ever had. I got the Cafe Turtle and it tasted just like a turtles chocolate. 10/10 will come to Brandon again just for this coffee.

Depending on the server, the service can be either great or not great. The peanut butter cake isn't good, and the brownie cakes also lack flavor. Any type of coffee drink I've had has been amazing though, like, best coffee or iced teas ever. They also don't have vegan options, which is a downer for those that are vegan.

Drive thru: coffee was fresh, hot, tasty and cheap. Happy customer!

Local and independent coffee shops struggle to maintain a quality product during restricted service as mandated by the Province. This statement is more important for those locations who do not have corporate backing to protect them during the difficult period that occurred outside of their control.Understanding the above, this location delivers great quality products and excellent service, despite the challenges from Covid-19.It was refreshing to see a friendly smile...well not exactly, the mask covered the smile...but you can hear the smile in their voice. The coffee was hot and didn't disappoint on flavour. If I was a full-time resident of Brandon, this location would definitely be my go-to spot for a quality beverage! If you are still reading this review because you are not sure you should try them out...get over there now and prove me wrong. (And no one paid me to write this...I call them like I experience them...)

Came here with a buddy after going for a walk. Offered a couple of summer drinks and wraps, and sat in the restaurant.I loved the furniture and how cozy it was. I was very comfortable and it was just a nice space overall. The drinks were very tasty, and the wraps were also very enjoyable. Will definitely be coming back to try some other items!
