We chose NorthCo to undertake a major refresh of the exterior envelope - roof, skylights, larger windows, doors and Hardie Board siding, along with a new facade frame and exterior lighting to add a more contemporary feel. Plenty of challenges to bring it all together seamlessly. The entire team (Owner, Site Manager, Crews) at NorthCo were exceptional - skilled professionals, efficient, friendly and Client conscientious, and all took great pride in their work. We are extremely pleased with the end result and recommend NorthCo without hesitation.It's a real credit to the leadership to have created such a great culture at NorthCo - it shows in the team and their work.

We don't know where to begin to describe how much we have appreciated NorthCo Siding Services Ottawa for the design and construction of the complete exterior renovation of our Ottawa home in 2022. All of their staff and all of their selected sub-contractors showed tremendous professional, ethical and reliable behaviour, and an intense pride in their work. During the construction, we always had access to Dan St-Aubin, an owner of the company, who showed on numerous occasions the company's commitment to deliver a quality project and to achieve customer satisfaction.

Northco did a great job completely redoing the exterior of our house last summer! Although there were a few delays along the way, mostly because of supply chain and labour shortage issues, it was worth the wait, we are super happy with the result. Months later, I still catch myself admiring the house as I drive up to it. Dan was really responsive anytime we had questions and he was quick to resolve any issues that arose along the way. The workers on site were also really nice and respectful. We would definitely recommend Northco!

We hired NorthCo to to a complete house wrap that included new vapor barriers, insulation, siding, soffits, facia, and flashing on the entire house. When our eavestroughing and gutter protection company fell through, NorthCo replaced those also. We are extremely happy with the work. The entire team was great to work with. The project started and finished when they told us it would. Potential issues and resolutions were pointed out to us before the work started and carried through after we were given options. Our house looks brand new! We appreciated that the project manager kept us updated and that we had a designer help us with the many choices of color matching. We would definitely recommend NorthCo. The entire job went smoothly on our end.

NorthCo Services review of old siding replacement (40% of second story siding with Hardie Plank.Dec 9, 2022Our house was built over a 1945 constructed “Veteran’s Design” story and a half house which had hada number of renovations (we did one), and a fire restoration most recently. Only about 35 % of thehouse’s (2nd floor only) original siding from 1945 had not been replaced with permanent nonmaintenancepermanent siding or new pine siding double-painted pre installation, easily accessed froma low sloped roof of the one story addition. We specified a permanent coating durable siding material,and only Hardie Plank siding met our specifications, at about 60% more than the bidder who quotedpre-coated wood siding.Aside from the long-supply-chain-delayed materials deferring the job scheduling, everything was asspecified in the original estimate, with some minor additions before signing. Alteration after signingwas done when complete new aluminum soffets were preferred to existing soffets appearance, andHardie Board replaced on facia boards by aluminum cladding after demolition was done. This caused avery minor price addition, with no change charge, for better overall appearance.This was a very small job, but once commenced with materials and dumpster onsite, was handledexclusively by the work team apart from rain days off until job completion close to the estimated weekand a half. The whole operation was completed very professionally, with good communication of allpertinent information and scheduling. The site manager and workers were completely satisfactory inaddressing any concerns.I particularly liked the initial estimate visit by the owner, the initial visit of the site manager whenmaterials were scheduled for delivery, modifying some initial plans for the work platform due to tightspacing between a hedge and the house on the gable portion of the job.Work requiring access to the south steep roof on the dormer was done (a first in all painting and roofingwork previously) without loading and bending the eavestroughs using padded support on the roofsurface and 3 care fully braced ladders to support working plafforms.I would recommend this system and NorthCo services as a dependable, professional and thoroughsupplier for siding installation of Hardie Plank and Board.Gordon Fitzpatrick10 Borden StreetOttawa, ON K2H8C8

Northco Services did a great well-coordinated job from start to finish on my vinyl siding installation. The complete process was expedient and professional. Seventy five percent of the installation was comprised of replacing the original installation that was done when the house was built in 1984. That installation was subpar. This installation far out shines the previous.Thank you Alex, Claudel, Adrian and of course the very experienced installation crew.
