10/10 recommend! We tried the cheddar smokies and the dill pepperoni sticks. The meat was just as superior in quality as the service we received from Erica and Bryce. The shop was super clean and well-stocked. We will be repeat customers for sure. Can’t wait to try something new each visit.

What a fantastic place to buy the most yummiest food! We have tried a number of fresh butchers in Saskatoon and a few around in our province and none compare for flavour and satisfaction! So many unique flavours for common meat products. The first time we visited Northern Meats we tried the smoked Gouda, fresh Hawaiian pizza, beer sticks, maple bacon, battered shrimp, and round ham cold cuts. We were so impressed that two days later we came back and bought a cinnamon bun (for on the road), beef tenderloin, both cheddar and taco smokies, salami and even more bacon! Every single food item brought surprised exclamations of how the taste was so clean, flavourful and very, very satisfying to eat! The cinnamon buns are soooo good! (Although eating them in a vehicle without a utensil was sticky fun!) The bacon is the bestest! Some items have a wee higher price but well worth the extra cost because of the truly wholesome flavour. Most food prices are quite comparable to large chain grocery stores too. The owner came out both times we were in the store and chatted with us about the foods and so very interested in helping us out and extending a welcome to his family business. There are so many more foods (like those Friday ribs!) we want to try from this new business that we wish we lived in Spiritwood! The BEST meat shop in our province that is for sure! We will be getting stocked up with some good meats for bbq season that is for sure! If you get a chance don't miss the opportunity to stop into this store! You absolutely won't be disappointed! We would give 10 stars if we could!
