Treena's Takeout
The lobster roll was tasty, with a good amount of meat, not too much mayo, on a toasted bun. Excellent traditional milkshakes. Could not be more convenient for anyone arriving or departing on the Wood Island ferry, but we drove over from Northumberland Provincial Park. Take out only, but there are picnic tables if the weather is good.

Nice shack by the road to the ferry. Good option while waiting. It's takeout only, which means no inside room options on rainy days. On sunny days many tables outside. The menu sounds delicious, I tried the lobster grilled cheese and the lobster poutine, it's PEI after all, lobster land! In the end not very generous in lobster. Service is great though.

It's my favorite food place in Wood Islands. Fish and chips and the chowder bowl are the best in the area.The location is great: next to the lighthouse and the Ferry to Nova Scotia.

Wife just brought home take out after spending the evening at the beach. I didn't expect anything to amazing but I was totally wrong. I actually got upset that I was on my last bite of my burger. Looks like we will be making the ride to wood islands this summer over montague for a good quick meal. Congratulations to the people who make it happen there. Cheers

Perfect place to celebrate a birthday with family. Food was so delicious ,served hot with fast service. Best chowder ever! poutine, burgers and fish and chips were the best- hot and no grease!Milkshakes we’re perfect! we will be back!

We stopped for a late lunch on a Thursday in August. Service was friendly and fast, prices were reasonable, and that was quite possibly the best seafood chowder we've tried in the maritime provinces. It was fresh, flavorful, and full of seafood without too much potato as filler. We would have bought a second bowl, but we filled up on the lobster poutine -- which was a new treat for us, and now we might never be able to go back to traditional versions. It was that good!
