Lowe's Home Improvement

By far the worst experience in a retail store I’ve ever encountered. From the assistant manager (Doug) right on down to the department associates. Please shop anywhere else but here. Next to no staff around to help. Took 15 mins to get a manager to customer service to tell me the defective product isn’t really his problem. I’d honestly pay people to shop elsewhere. Avoid at all costs.

On Sunday 21st June my wife and I visited Lowe's on Appleby and we bought a patio table with chairs with cushions and a patio umbrella. All personnel whom we asked for information were kind and friendly. We want to express our particular thanks to your employee Jonah. This young man was particularly friendly and helpful in wheeling out our heavy purchases and loading them all into the car, all with a smile and kind words. We wanted to give him a tip but he refused. Please let this young gentleman know that we are grateful for his help and wish to show him as an example to all of how, by his attitude, he makes Lowe's even more attractive to customers.

I would like to acknowledge the excellent customer service from Madison Gray in the Delivery area at Lowes Burlington recently. I had ordered 80 plus patio stones off the website and had to cancel the delivery the day before due to an unexpected conflict. Madison efficiently reset the delivery date and the stones were delivered at the new date and time stated. Unfortunately, I had miss-interpreted the colour of the stones we ordered having just looked at the first of several pictures of the stones on the website and had ordered the wrong ones. So we set up a return and throughout the process Madison was very helpful in trying to get us the product we had hoped for and which we later ordered from the Ancaster Store. The return was handled efficiently. While we had to pay the delivery charges, Madison handled the return professionally and sympathetically. With the ongoing staffing issues at many of the stores, Madison ended up being the best point of contact and followed up on the commitments to update us unlike some of the other local home improvement stores. As a side note, one unneeded aggravation was the Lowe's voice activated call number which wasted time and was not all that efficient, especially as we had to call in repeatedly after issues with dropped calls and being sent to the wrong department.

Filipe in Kitchens and Alex in Appliances both earned my loyalty with their excellent help with my beautiful new kitchen. It's just gorgeous with the new stove and cupboard's ! Love love ❤️ this store.

We want to shout out for the staff of this store! We plan to install our pergola for the first time, Shelby helped us with the purchasing and picking up; the team of loading with superpower helped us loaded stuff on van; David the most cool and professional person we’ve ever met took us all the way to buy everything we needed; Rob at the hardware section kindly and patiently helped us picking the right tools; the lady at the checkout section generously helped us until the end; and Mr.Sand, Mr.Rock, the whole customer service team, each of you is a superstar! :)

Worth the drive, very positive experience. Bright, airy store, was served immediately by knowledgeable staff able to answer all my questions and meet my requests. Pleased also with competitive prices for all my blind needs.Highly recommend, will now be my go to store.

If I could, I would give 10 Stars to Madison!!She has been super helpful and absolutely awesome. We recently bought patio furniture from Lowe's but were not satisfied with the product. We reached out to the store for refund. The exchange and delivery, and pick up (of the old set) has been smooth - all Thanks to Madison.Will definitely shop here again....

We were shopping around for a washer/dryer and came across Muhammad Yahya at Lowes in Burlington. We had no idea what we were looking for and we are so thankful for Muhammad asking if he could assist us! His knowledge was out of this world! He started asking questions and paired us up with an option we were eyeing without him even knowing that!!! It made the decision easy his recommendation! He answered all our questions, was very professional and is an absolutely stellar sales person and employee. Thanks so much, Muhammad!

I’m not normally one to write reviews but my customer service experience today was so unbelievably unprofessional and horrendous that I just had to do it. To start off the store is incredibly untidy, there are boxes of products on the floors of every aisle and the shelves are generally messy. The store was fairly busy considering it was Victoria Day weekend, and you would figure that there would be enough staff to compensate but it was a complete ghost town and I couldn’t find any customer service assistance here. The pricing in this store is outrageous considering the fact that anything I looked at here can be bought at Home Depot for a much better deal. I will be going to Home Depot for all of my home improvement needs in the future due to this horrible experience, and I suggest everyone to do the same.
