Great chat with friendly owners. Coffee was not really special, but good enough (probably best in Digby), and the carrot cake and cinnamon bun were just delicious!

Quick service & amazing food. Everything is homemade and staff is very accommodating. True portion sizes and fresh bread & rolls are also for sale. The sticky buns are to die for!It is a little cozy - not a great place for large groups and the bathroom is a little tight.

Merci to the French Owners.The stress of holiday baking was removed with the support of the outstanding baking at Calorie Counter Bakery. The owners provided a vast and unique list of items that could be pre-ordered. Upon my initial order, l discovered l had the need to add to it. This was met with efficiency and ease demonstrating top notch customer service. I also learned about a French custom of enjoying Ribbon Bread, a multilayered delight. This l served up as an appetitizer as it showcased beautifully on the table and tasted just as marvelous as it looked!My guests and family are now customers as they raved about not only the taste of the Christmas, chocolate, carrot cakes, minced meat pie, cinnamon buns, rolls, ribbon bread but the presentation! The various baked goods were pieces of art.Bravo! What a delight to have the baking expertise, customer care so readily available at extremely reasonable prices too! If you have not enjoyed the baking at Calorie Counter Bakery and Coffee Shop go, and while you wonder what to try first consider a bowl of fresh seafood chowder to get you started. I know you will thank me once you bite into a cinnamon bun. Bon Appetite.

This cafe has excellent breakfast, homemade bread and sweets, no complaints about that at all. Its not a typical cafe in the sense that there is a tv set up behind one of the middle tables, a bit odd when the owners watch TV over you as you eat. His wife is very friendly but she doesent talk much, he is very chatty! Depending on the topic, may be a bit abrasive to some people. Each their own. Coffee was weak, got a half cup because it was empty, never received refill. Bathroom had no soap to wash hands, just some water in an empty pump of softsoap.Beware of your bill.. admitted to charche more when tourism is high, what's on the board is not what's charged hahaha"Anyway. Good food

Visited during Wharf Rat Rally. Nice little family run coffee and bake shop. Owner is very entertaining.

Where to start. If I could give it 0 stars I would. Between the feeling that I walked in someone's house uninvited and unwanted and the coffee that was OK at best, I could have survived and simply gone on with my day. But the bigotry (I am still debating about using the word racism) and colonialist attitude towards Acadian people that, according to him, have not evolved
