I volunteer as a tutor at The Literacy Group of Waterloo Region and want to share that it is a very rewarding experience. I encourage anyone interested in improving adult literacy in our community to sign up as a volunteer. Literacy is the key to so many successes in life!

This nonprofit organization provides excellent classes to improve English literacy and mathematical skills up through the high school grad level. Instruction is provided by capable, experienced volunteers and the admin team at Literacy Group is friendly, helpful and accommodating to people from all backgrounds.
