This is basic pub. Great service. Smoking in the patio area was a negative for me. The food didn’t seem home made.

my brother and I recently had the pleasure of dining at Character's Pub on Christmas Eve and was blown away by the excellent food and service. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a warm and friendly atmosphere. The staff was attentive and helpful, making sure for an enjoyable nightFor my entree, I decided to try the Christmas Eve turkey and was not disappointed. The turkey was cooked to perfection, tender and juicy with a delicious flavor. It was the perfect choice for a festive holiday dinner.Overall, I had a fantastic experience at Character's Pub. The staff were amazing and went above and beyond to make sure that my dining experience was top-notch. I would highly recommend Character's Pub to anyone looking for a great meal in a welcoming atmosphere. Thank you, Character's Pub, for an unforgettable Christmas Eve dining experience!

Not the best tasting breakfast I ever had in fact it was tasteless just there on the plate with no flavour to brag of, loose caboose down the street won me over with real flavours in their food, no spices or anything used to flavour the basic eggs Benny up, I even ordered the one with the avocado and spinach to hopefully taste better than plain and they didn’t meet my expectations at all, sad breakfast to say the least… should of just stuck to where I know Loose Caboose hands down, they actually stove for good flavour!!!!❤️

Character’s Pub is my home away from home. The wait staff are awesome! Friendly fast service. The food is always top notch and the prices are reasonable. The portion sizes are HUGE! The menu has many options (I recently had the seafood fettuccine and was blown away at how much seafood was included!). Sooo good! The drink specials are really good too. My favourite is the tequila sunrise. A steal of a deal for $4.50! I was so impressed with the staff and the way that they’ve been handling the ups and downs of covid that I bought them a box of Purdy’s chocolates as a thank you for being so amazing. Each of the wait staff came over to my table to thank me for doing this for them. Such awesome ladies! Kudos to the owner for obviously being a good leader to his team! Oh!!! The patio area is nicely spaced out and at night time the lights make it feel festive! All in all this place ROCKS!!! My favourite pub!!!

Went for breakfast while it was busy on Sunday the wait staff were very friendly, and kept the drinks full. the food was not... I ordered the eggs Benedict poached medium the hollandaise tasted like a mix, the whites were undercooked, food was all lukewarm, coffee and shredded hash browns were burnt. I had stomach troubles afterwards.Prices were discounted before noon for breakfast

Have been here twice both times the servers were awesome! prompt, happy, efficient and very knowledgeable on their menu! Great prices and the food was so good! 10/10 would come back!

Wanted to check out the local pubs around where I just moved. I was disappointed because the prices are vancouver prices. Two Ceasars 25 bucks. I read online there was a happy hour menu but it was only for drinks. It's not anything special lots of regulars. Service was OK, I wouldn't go out of my way to go there. I can't judge on food as I thought the alcohol was priced high.

Definitely the best Nachos in town. But the last time we were there, they were actually too cheesy! Not something I mention often, but I'd have preferred more chips!Tried their soups and sandwiches, the chicken and rice and cream of cauliflower were delicious, but the spicy beef dip missed the mark a little.All in all though, good food, great service, decent drinks and great staff.

While visiting, this was our go to place ! We came here 3 times, and each visit was 5/5!The staff were always friendly and attentive, but never overbearing.They had a huge awesome cocktail selection(including blended frozen delights !) at really reasonable prices.They always had a food and drink special going on.The food was always so very good - we kept coming back !The atmosphere was super fun and laid back. They played good music at a perfect volume.They also had TVs that showed sports and a smaller one for lotto like Keno.Drinks we enjoyed included -Blended Frozen Peach BeliniBartenders Root BeerMudslideWhite RussianBlended Frozen Strawberry Peach MargaritaPint of Canadian with a side of Clamato (my husband said it was the best type of Clamato- he was really pleased)Food selection includedPotato Skins ( OMG The BEST Ever !! )Beef Dip w/ceaser saladArtichoke DipCalamariDouble Bacon Cheeseburger w/onion ringsCan’t say enough good things about this place.
