Canadian Tire

On Friday, June 16 I was in the Country Hills area and noticed I had a bulge in my tire which I quickly found out meant the tire needed to be replaced immediately. I walked over to the auto center at 6:15 and spoke with the friendly service desk agent who came out and viewed my car; he agreed the tire needed to be replaced and checked me in to get two new tires. I expected the service to be completed the next day and went to a movie. I finished the movie and realized I had a voicemail on my phone that my tire swap was completed at 7:30. I really appreciated the quick service on a Friday night and that I didn't have to leave my car overnight and return the next day!

⚠️Auto Service Caution⚠️ I took my tire to be patched- signed the form for the tire repair. Decided half way through the service I needed an oil change. Employee gladly added service ..he later peeked into the waiting area where I sat and told me your oil change is added and bill is now X amount. He never showed me the paperwork and never got my signature to approve the oil change.(which is fine because I did ask for an oil change but I should have at least initialed the change)Once my service was complete another employee took me and my receipt to the front till to pay without going over the services provided/ receipt. I never signed the receipt/service order approving the work done. (There is a spot they should be getting a signature for). I trusted the workers and paid the amount only to notice an additional 80$ service for a headlight replacement was on my bill! I was not sure what the code meant so I asked my husband and he told me.I NEVER approved this service nor was I informed of it. When we called later to question the manager( Wahed Sahar) was rude and basically told us we paid the bill so tough luck.I can't believe the way we were treated here. I feel completely blindsided by these workers and cannot believe they got away with something like this.Be VERY careful when dealing with these people.

Frustrating - most items are now locked behind glass cabinets. Spent a good 15mins trying to find an associate to unlock it, by the time I found someone, he couldn't unlock it anyway, and went off to find someone. In that time I saw 3 others waiting for things to be unlocked as well. The thing is, I just wanted a $25 screw driver that's only $20 if I buy it online elsewhere because I thought this would be easier. Now I left frustrated and am going to buy it online cheaper. Further items I wanted, they no longer carry anyway and need to buy those online too. I recommend looking elsewhere.Here is the thing. If I can't take the product to a cashier - I can't buy it. And if I leave frustrated, I'm not coming back. It's an unfortunate consequence. But today I learned it is not only cheaper, but more convenient if I buy online elsewhere.

If I could leave them a zero star, I would.I went there this evening as I scheduled my truck in for tires to be installedWhen arriving, I was greeted by an upset customer who just had his tires installed, and he informed me they wrecked his nice wheels. He went to speak with a manager and the service department and was told too bad, Canadian tire isn't responsible for damaging his wheels.The employee just pointed to a sign on the wall. I went and spoke to the service department to check my truck in, and asked who is responsible if they scratched my somewhat expensive wheels. Employee responded with attitude and pointed at the sign saying they are not responsible. A shop this big should be able to have state of the art tire machines that should make it near impossible to damage customers' wheels and my wheels are not anything crazy they are just 17 simple but aftermarket wheels. It's not like I'm bringing in some 22" or 24" chrome wheel worth a thousand plus dollars a piece.But I still want a guarantee if by chance they damage my wheels

Thought I’d try a different location for the auto shop, but still awful customer service, will never come back to Canadian Tire at all. Had an appointment booked for two basic services. Three hours after dropping it off I called and they hadn’t even started yet. It’s now been over five hours and they haven’t even got in touch, I had to get a ride home with a friend and leave my car overnight. Will have to bus up tomorrow to hopefully get my car. This is something that should have taken 2-3 hours at the most. Again, I literally had an appointment, but they were treating it like a walk-in, saying it was hard to “fit me in”. That is what the appointment is for. I am so tired of this company acting like I have all the time in the world and like no one’s schedule matters but theirs. They don’t even seem to care. Will never return back.

Great place to shop with quality brands. I bought a really expensive quality knife set here that you would normally find in a high end kitchen store. They have a lot of items from tires to paper towels, BBQs, dishes, lights and much more. At Christmastime they have a big variety of Christmas trees,lights and decorations . Online shopping is easy too. Check it out!

A large Canadian Tire location with lots of parking. It’s never too busy and seems to be open late. Large seasonal section that has a great variety of Christmas ornaments right now, and we got a great deal on a Christmas tree before the holidays.They were quick to cut keys and had friendly staff at the automotive counter.We had trouble finding any staff to open the smarthome display cabinet to buy lightbulbs, and the help button at the paint counter didn’t work. We called customer service on our cell and they said they would send someone to our aisle. I think it was too busy towards their closing time so after waiting a while, we just picked lower cost smartbulbs that weren’t locked instead. Those bulbs worked great so I think it worked out for the better anyways!

I would like to express my gratitude for your wonderful staff Rick in the Auto Services at Calgary Country Hills store. When I finished shopping at Canadian Tire on May 11, I walked to the counter of Auto Services and told them that one of my tires looks flat after I hit something at the parking lot of Canadian Tire. It was late and the Auto Services is just closed. What impressed me is that Rick (elder guy with a classes) understood my worries and agreed to take a quick look. To ensure I can send the child to school the next morning, he came up with a good solution to save the night. Please pass my “Big Thanks” to this great man. He is definitely a great asset for Canadian Tire and definitely bring more customers. Thanks for your services !

Poor customer service. Read full story below.I purchased wheels online from Canadian tire app and went to country hills for installation with appointment at 11am. They told me it will take 2 or more hours to get wheels and tires done (even with appointment). Hour and half later, service manager waheed told me wheels size is not matching tires. I showed him app selection and specifications which were accurate. I ordered and paid for 17” wheels and they told me i ordered 16”. When i showed him what i selected in app, he said its error in the app and told me he cannot give me 17” at same price which i already paid online. I explained him that i paid for right wheels as per app however he did not honour online order and i ended up paying more. Worst thing is the way he treated me. At certain point in discussion he said i am wasting his time and i can walk out cancelling my order. This is worst level of customer service one could expect. CT country hill should train their staff some customer service ethics. Such a bad experience.

Bill and Matthew in the automotive department were extremely helpful when I was in to get new bulbs for my truck. Great service from very friendly staff!
